Well, after serching for a place....we finally found the perfect one Juan Valdez Cafe, the Colombian Starbucks. We bought Colombian coffe to several people and for our surprise one young guy was so excited because he heard about TGR in Boston and to happen to him in his Hometown....it was amazing!! What a great thing he said! This is our Gift Revolution from Barranquilla,Colombia!!!! God Bless our World!

Chicken Change

franE, 30, Miramar, US

A few nights after Christmas, I went to Pollo Tropical with my family. When we paid for our food, the woman at the drive-thru, Natasha, was very nice. When it came time to give us our change ($14) we just told her to keep it and wished her a Merry Christmas...She was very happy! It wasn't much money, but she seemed very happy to receive it anyway. I felt so good to give somethng to someone and make them that happy. Especially if they don't see it coming! I want to start tipping people who never get tipped. Servers and stylists expect it, but there are many hard working people out there who don't...I hope to make that a habit in 2009...! Happy New Year to all and God bless...

Starbucks pass it on's

Mary Hostrup, 50, Cooper City, US

Starbucks had a nearly empty box of Christmas coffee bags (one pound bags) for that they send to the troops. Along with that promotion Starbucks offered a free drink with the purchase of the Christmas coffee. I bought a bag of coffee and passed on my free drink. The next patron came in while I was still there putting my straw in my own purchased drink. The Barista told him that he gets a free drink. He wondered why. The Barista had told him just what transpired about the purchase and passing on the free drink. He purchased a pound of Christmas coffee for the troops too and passed on his drink too. I had left the store praying that it would pass on. Passing it on is something I do naturally and have for most of life. This Barista passed on that man's free drink plus miine and the next person bought a pound of Christmas coffee and passed it on as well. This happened at least six times or more. Two days later we (the Barista and I)passed it on again. The box for the troops had been filled at least three times over and over. It was a wonderful experience to see someone else also inspired by the Gift Revolution and had passed it one along with all the people who joined in on this experience. God bless our troops and may they come home safely I pray. In Jesus name, Amen

Taco Bell

Latonya Simon, 29, pompano beach, US

I went to Taco Bell last night around 11:30pm. I went through the drive thru and ordered. I pulled to the window to pay for my food and noticed a car pull up behind me which meant their order was placed. I asked the cashier for their total so that I could pay for their food. As I paid for their $8.35 total, I told the cashier that all I wanted him to do was to give the person the gift revolution card, tell them I said happy new year, and to share their testimony on this website. I felt so good I can't wait to do this for someone else. Bless up!

Received

Latonya Simon, 29, pompano beach, US

I was in Winn dixie with my friend keeping her company as she did her grocery shopping. Along the way I picked up some items as well. At the check out counter, she told me to go first since I had only a few things. My bill came up to about $25 and as I was reaching into my purse to pay, she gave the cashier her credit card to charge and gave me the gift revolution card. I felt so blessed and thanked her as she had a huge smile on her face. I was thankful because I had very little money to spend but needed these items for home. Thank you and God bless Maria!

sale on the sale

Terri, 31, Myrtle Beach, US

One of your families is moving and decided to sell some of the things they no longer needed. I was interested in an area rug. They gave us a great deal on the rug and a shelf (that she took off of her wall!). And, when she heard that I wanted to put rugs in my garage for the children to play on she offered to contact me later so I could have her garage rugs. Her son also gave us some candy and a postcard from your church. Thank You!

Christmas Dinner 2nd Part

Andres and Carmen Cerón, 62, Lima, PE

do you remember a night before Christmas we posted a testimonial about our Gift revolution? so, we did it. We went to that woman's house we didn't know (the one that's on wheels chair and begs for money on a corner so he can eat something). We found her on her bed and she got exited for having a visit. She and her son had no food for that night and she were thinking on doing something to eat. That's when we knocked her house's door. Finnaly we prayed together and her son accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour and asked Him for him to be free of having recentments and bad attitudes to her mother. She uses diapers. The surprise for her was that they didn't have to ask for money to eat again 'cause our Gift revolution was a really great peruvian roast chicken.

Funny Gift

Cory, 29, North Myrtle Beach, US

The other day, I was in line at Wal-Mart. Unfortunately, no other potential "giftees" were around while I was standing in line. Right when the cashier gave me my total, a woman walked up with one item. I said to her, "Miss, I know this sounds weird, but I'll be paying for that today. Merry Christmas!" She was a little stunned, and just said, "Oookay." I left the store laughing because I had just gifted a complete stranger a package of toilet paper!

Help from a stranger

Christine , 31, Las Vegas, US

Michelle, I just read the email you have sent and I really hope this is true. I myself have wanted to sign up for your online program but have not been able to due to money. 3 Months ago I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy. The left side of my face was paralyzed. I have just recently gotten most of my face back. My unemployment runs out in 3 weeks and I am just able to start looking for a job again. Times are tough and jobs are not easy to come by. I have a son and this Christmas is going to be very different then most years. Due to all of the medicine I was on It caused me to put on 10lbs. If you could send me one of those books I would be very grateful. I don't want to put an address to this email till I know it is all legit. If it is this is a wonderful thing to do... Thank you again.- Christine I sent the above email to Michelle Marie after getting her email about her free online book. Michelle sent me back an email and offered to send a gift card to me to help with the presents for my son. When it got here it was for $50.00. I was able to buy my son some presents and in turn I also gave back by getting something for my best friends little girl. I have never seen someone who didn't even know me or my family to be so generous. I wanted to make sure I posted my story. Unfortunately it is after Christmas. I have a lot of trouble keeping faith these days and this was like a guardian angel coming to my rescue. My family and I are so thankful. Sincerely, Christine

God continues to work through

Caroline S Beavers, 56, Portland, Tn 37148, US

after we left church today and pastor lance johnson was telling us how important it is to "tell your story" this entire month we have learned so much from pastor Terrell Somerville @ Freedom Church and Pastor Lance Johnson, the music has been unreal and has touched so deep in our hearts. " God in this city". when I listen to it, I raise my arms to our Precious Lord Jesus Christ.... This has been a wonderful Journey and we will continue to keep this revolution, going. Our Church Family is the reason each and every day we feel we have a Purpose, if I ever get down because of so much sadness in the world, today I know I have Our Heavenly Father to turn to and know that on Sunday, I will see the love and most friendly faces from our Church Family. I lost my Mother 4 years ago from a liver disease, and she suffered to deeply much, she loved the Lord and would always talk and sing songs and did not realize how sick she really was, God gave her that Grace. Before the day she passed away, the night before God came to me in a vision and I saw my mother walking down a dirt road, she had not walked for several years, because of her disease. I got behind her and said Mother, what are you doing? She turned around and looked at me and said, " leave me alone, I am almost there... then I woke up, I thank God each and every day of this Special vision that he allowed me to see in my sleep. I knew that my Mother was going to be fine and went to be with Our Precious Lord. God Bless each and Everyone of you.

Monthly bus pass

Mary Roper, 52, Pembroke Pines , US

I met a girl named Anne & we became fast friends. However, she lived alone & was living on disability. She never had enough money to buy a bus pass (which cost $20.00) so she could get out of the house & go places. I being unemployed couldn't give much but I gave her $20.00 for a monthly bus pass in a Christmas card. She started crying. At first she didn't want to accept it since we barely knew each other. I explained that didn't matter, that I wanted her to accept the gift with out giving anything in return, just like Christ gave us a gift of eternal life. She understood & was very blown away. I also gave her the card with theGiftRevolution.com & asked her to check the website out on the computer.

Homeless Veterans...

Tony, 51, Tampa, FL, US

Driving home from work the day after Christmas and I see a man in a wheel chair, (missing one leg) with one of those cardboard signs: "Homeless Veteran" while I was sitting at a red light. I can't help but notice nobody wanted to give him a buck... I opened the door, ran over to him and gave him $20! He was still thanking me, saying "God bless you, God bless you" when the light turned Green and people started to honk their horns at me... Well, don't you know it took me a few extra seconds to get back to my car so they could reflect on their unkind and rude behavior...Yes, I forgave them! :) God loves us all! Many Blessings to you! Peace Out.

God inspiring people

robert hazlegrove, 38, sunset beach, nc, US

On December 23, God brought a customer to my restaurant that had been blessed by the gift revolution. They wanted to continue the blessing by buying lunch for another patron. They inturn did the same for yet another. After this went on for five or six turns, my waitress asked me what was going on. Being a participant in the revolution myself, I explained to her what was happening. Her response was "I Want to be a part of that!" She hurriedly rushed to a table with a card that i had given her, to buy their lunch with her tip money. She was so full of the holy spirit however, that she got emotional and could not speak. I explained to the customer what her intent was, and helped her finish the deal. It was an amazing experience! Praise God!
