I have done all my Christmas shopping online this year because I find that I am less likely to shop impulsively therefore I'm better able to stick to a budget. However, I was forced to go to Target because I want to give a friends child the Barbie Diamond Castle but it is out of stock everywhere. As I was looking for a parking space, my 15 yr old daughter saw a gentleman loading a bicycle into his truck in the handicapped space and said "Mom, I wish we could win the Lotto so I could give that man $100.00. I was overcome with the desire to show my daughter that we didn't need to win the Lotto to feel able to give, so I stopped and asked the man if he would feel offended by my giving him $100.00 and he smiled and said, Thank you and God Bless You. He hugged me and shook my hand. I told him to check out The Gift Revolution online.
I have been unemployed for 13 months, but I feel that I am blessed and God always provides. Thank you God, I love you.
And to Ray, God Bless you too.

unexpected suprise
Heidi Camara, 28, Naples, US
I work at a spa, there are many clients everyday that come and go. I found a small bag full of spa products that a guest had purchased and left behind. i found a receipt and was able to track down that person. that person received the bag and i was very glad to help out. later that day, a co worker gives me a gift from this person, with the gift was a gift revolution card enclosed. Its amazing how one act of kindness can connect you to someone you otherwise would have never met =-0

Braces
Destany Russell, 15, Ava, US
my parents have been struggling for years how to be able to afford braces for me. We were told that it was a medical need for me to have braces do to my teeth loosening. It was all god in this situation being we hadn't shared this need with anyone! To our pleasent suprise my youth pastor Ron Wallace pulled my mom aside last wednesday night at church and told her that a woman and her family had taken it upon themselves to bless me with the gift of confidence. She shared that i had been nice to her family member and wanted to pay it forward to me! She decided that they would start our gift revolution by paying for my braces to fix my teeth! They have no idea how much my family and i appreciate them and only god can understand how thankful i am! GOD BLESS! and hopefully someday i can pay it forward to someone in need!!!

She Was Hungry
Deanna Nelson, 40, San Antonio, US
We are blessed at my place of work to have two restaurants that come to our building and set up a mini restaurant setting and sell us lunches. One comes everyday except Sunday and the other is a deli that brings us a variety of boxed sandwiches, potato salad, sweet tea, fruit cups and a variety of chips and giant cookies on Thursdays and Fridays. The lunches are set at $5.50 a box. Not bad for a lot of food and drink.
While I was in line I noticed a young lady sitting at one of the bar tables in the break room digging in her wallet and looking for change. She was really digging but not coming up with much. I saw that she pulled out a few coins. I imagine that it wasn't even enough to buy a can of soda from the vending machine. I took my box and joined my friends at our usual table. I guess the young lady had given up her search and was looking down at her shoes. I asked my friends if they recognized the young woman and turns out she was a trainee and this was her first week on the job. I told my friends what I had just seen and and dollars started piling on our table. I went over to the young lady and asked her quietly if she had eaten lunch. I could tell that she didn't want to say no, so I took her hand and pulled her up and walked her over to the McAlester's deli line and asked her what kind of sandwich she wanted. She got tears in her eyes so I ordered her a Roast Beef sandwich with a potato salad, cheetos, fruit cup and a large sweet tea. I walked her over to our table and welcomed her to our table of friendship.
It's been two weeks since this happened and Maggie (the young lady in question) has been embraced by us. We are probably fifteen years older than Maggie but she is responsive to our friendship and encouragement. She just went through a divorce and this was the first time she had ever had to work. We will see to it that she never has to go hungry again.

Grocery Store
Ivette P, 34, tampa, UM
I was at a local grocery store grocery shopping, when I approached the cash register to pay,I was told that the person in front of me had left me $20 to pay for some of my groceries. Along with the $20 was a yellow piece of paper from the gift revolution. I want to say "thank You" for your generosity! My husband and I have been helping out a family in need and some of the groceries in that shopping cart were for that family.

Cross That I Wore.....
Anonymous , 45, Cleveland TN, US
My husband and I live in Sunrise FL.We were fortunate to have a few days of vacation to visit family in TN, during Thanksgiving!
While getting ready to Thank God for his Grace, a couple that is known to our family stopped in to join us. The couple have been married to 25 years. The wife has been struggling with a variety of health issues keeping her wheel chair bound...Here is the story. I was wearing a Big Cross Necklace purchased right at the Source Ministry at FRC, where we do life together with our friends. The wife says I just LOVE your necklace. As we were getting ready to sit down for dinner, I walked up behind her and put that cross necklace on her neck. It looked Fantastic on her too! After dinner I gave her the Gift Revolution Card. As we talked she shared with me that my husband and I had been in her prayer journal for a long time! BTW she gave me a bracelet she was wearing with JOhn 3:16 on it! It's not over yet...I gave that bracelet to my Dad's wife who was having knee surgery 3 days later. She requested the bracelet be put on her arm as soon as the hospital would allow after surgery. All POWERFUL ALL KNOWING EVERYWHERE AT ONE TIME GOD!!!!!!!!!

Excess gifts bags...
Nat, 29, Miami, US
I have been in a spring cleaning mode (yeah in the dead of winter) and I was in a closet when I found that I have dozens and dozens of gifts bags that I inteded to reuse but haven't. So I grabbed a few Barbies (in the box) adn beanie Babies (NEW) from my collection and put them in the gift bags. I loaded my trunk and just wait for that nudge to give. I have given strangers gifts all over town and so the revolution continues...

Super sweet family! They bought us a huge ice cream dessert for our family, with a saying: Continue the Revolution. Thanks. We loved the ice cream!

My "Gift" Gift Revolution
Joshua Peelman, 29, Zephyrhills, US
Today, I went to church and as the worship music was being performed, I had a undying urge that I needed to start my gift revolution, so God put it in my heart to seek his will. So, I heard this little voice say, "Give away your Bible", the little voice in my head is saying, "NO WAY, this is my bible I received as a Gift, after my Baptism, NO WAY, UH UH!" Well, the message of the service was dealing with following God and listening and following what he urges us to do. Well, after service I saw a guy that I hadn't seen at church before and I asked him if it was his first time to our church. He said, yes. I knew that this what was to begin my gift revolution, I approached him immediately after this thought in the hallway and said, "God has been speaking to me this entire service to give you my bible, and I want you to have it." I asked his name and he said thank you, and the look in his eyes it was magical. Afterwards, I broke down in tears knowing the I made a sudden and drastic change in mine and that mans life.
That is my Gift Revolution, what are you going to do?

God always knows!
Lisa, 42, Gallatin, TN, US
After church this morning, my son and I had some errands to run. I was inspired to do my part in the Gift Revolution. As we made our stops, I was watching people and asking God "is this the one?"
He made it clear to me at Aldi's. There was a little old man in there and God said "this is the one." I told my son I was going to buy his groceries. He said you're gonna what? I said yep, God just told me to. I paid for my stuff and gave the cashier money and a gift revolution card and explained to her that I wanted to buy that man's groceries. She said, "Really!?" I said yes and please give him this card and tell him God loves him. As he came through the line, he was telling the cashier how his morning had gone. He had gone to church, left a little early though because his cattle needed hay in their hay ring (he's still wearing his muddy rubber boots mind you!) and said he needed to come to town for himself. She wrang up his food and handed him his receipt and the gift revolution card and told him he was all taken care of. She said I was told to give you this card and tell you God loves you. He said you mean my food has been paid for? She said yes sir, you are all taken care of. He was puzzled. He looked at her and said, "How did you know I didn't have any food in my house?" She said I didn't sir, it's just been taken care of. It was quite a blessing to see that God does take care of all our needs, when we least expect it. God is good all the time!

Tears of Joy
Jane Edwards, 58, Longs, US
I was standing in line behind a beautiful young woman, who had just learned that she could not use a credit card and she had no cash. I reached in my pocket and paid for her purchase and she was astounded. Her comment was" I am not believing this." I simply said, "Pay it forward." She looked at me with tears in her eyes and said, " I think I am". She further commented that she was serving in the US military and was home on leave due to her sister's serious illness. I thanked her for serving our great country and wished her sister the best and speedy recovery. Others around me commented about what a wonderful thing I had done, the clerk was speechless and I left somewhat embarrassed by the attention. One of the men in line followed me to my car to ask me more about what I had done and why. I pointed to my bumper sticker "The Gift Revolution.com and told him to check it out.
I shed tears on my way home. What a gift I really gave myself.

Food for the construction work
Ricardo Ballesteros Jr., 35, Pembroke Pines, US
We went to the construction sites, and we gave food for the workers that where working at night that day. There was a surprise for them, and basically we told them that we were doing a revolution trying to inspire the world that christmas is for give to others! I think that the images can tell better the story!
