I was standing at the check out lane at Walmart trying to decide how I was going to bless someone for The Gift Revolution. I decided to get cash back, for a specific amount of money, and decide later how I was going share my Gift. As I was putting my groceries in the cart, I saw a lady behind me in line adding her food costs on her calculator. I could see myself doing that same thing just 5 minutes earlier, making sure I had a enough money for food and my gift. I was going to be short that week and as I looked at her, I knew she was the one who I was going to give my Gift to. I could see myself as if I was looking into a mirror. I gave her the money and told her to use it toward her groceries and this was a Gift. I not only walked away blessing her but in a reflection of myself I was blessed, too.

Denny's!
David Metellus, 20, Boca Raton, US
I woke up today feeling pretty down and out, even though I had just gotten paid it was still a bit drab. So I went to Denny's to have some breakfast and read the news online. Right across from me were two men I hadn't seen before but would soon impact my morning. So I ate my meal and proceeded to go pay. When I reached in my pocket I realized that I only had my temporary check card that I had just got the day before and it always gives me problems when I'm tryig to pay. I still tried to use it and needless to say it didn't fail to fail me. Completely embarassed and stuck at the checkout line in the restaurant I asked about nearby ATM's and offered to leave my keys as I go make a withdrawal. While asking about it one of the gentlemen came up and gave his card and said" I'll pay". I figures he was talking about his own meal, and I found it a bit rude that he cut in to pay for his meal before my issue was resolved. After clarification the cashier explained that he said he'll take care of it. That was truly a phenomenal act of kindness and it reinforces my feeling of hope for America. After I thanked him, I started to walk out towards my car; when I almost reached my car he came up from behind me and said just do me one favor, to to thegiftrevolution.com. HERE I AM!!

Making a difference
Rita, 38, North Myrtle Beach, US
My day started out hectic you could say..I had 20 gifts to wrap then I had to go to the UPS store and mail them all of to family in Iowa..So I got the all wrapped and put them in the 3 boxes, loaded the car my oldest daughter and I were in the car backed out of the garage and the door wouldn't close..I GOT OUT AND TRIED AND TRIED TO CLOSE THIS GARAGE DOOR!!! I was getting so mad..I was hungry, had to go to two malls, ups store, and this door was giving me fits..I finally got the door to work..But not without being in such a bad mood that I couldn't stand myself..I get to the Ups store and ofcourse there is a line..argg..There was this little old lady making a million copies of something and humming Christmas songs..Oh my that really helped my mood..haha...I got all three boxes finally mailed, then we went and ate..mind you knowing this whole time that I needed an attitude check and that I had gift of revolution cards in my purse but doing nothing with them... So we get to the first mall and we go into Dressbarn there is this mother and her teenage daughter and her 3 or 4 your old daughter in the line in front of me paying the cashier..I start talking to the little girl and ask her what she wants for christmas she states "presents" My daughter and I laugh at how cute she is..The Mother pays for her coat and right then and there God spoke to me and said Rita the card..So I reach and my purse grab a card and 20.00. I hand the Mom the card and the money..she looked at it and kindly smiles with total amazement in her eyes and says huh? I say it's a thing that my daughter's chruch is doing..She thanked me and said that to her little girl come on lets go buy you something...The cashier was in pure amazement so i gave her a card as well..After I paid for my products, the cashier came around and said that was so nice of you and gave me the sweetest, best hug that I so much was in need for...As I am typing this the tears are rolling down my cheeks for the gratitude that I have for God and my daughter Marisa Gregory for showing me this awesome church that I am now going to go to every sunday, and for her awesome love of Christ! So in closing I may have made that woman and cashier feel much better, but I want to thank them for bringing me closer to where I needed to be with the Lord...Thank you..I am so Sorry for such a long stoy, but sometimes you just have to get it all out...:)

Revolution in the Laundromat
Larry G. Next Level Church, 40, New Port Richey, US
This wasn't my idea. Dave from Next Level mentioned it and I felt it was a grand idea. I am lucky enough to have a washer/dryer. I have also had to stand in the laundromat doing laundry. Not so fun.
Today, while on a test drive at work, I stopped by the local laundromat (Wesley Chapel, FL area) to revolutionize it. As I walked in, I spied a gentleman near the door waiting for his laundry to be done. Being a little cool today (mid 40s), he was a bit chilled by the weather, too. I asked how much it was costing him to do his laundry. It was $8.75. I promptly dropped 10 singles on the washer and told him it was on me today. I left him a TGR card and wished him a Merry Christmas. The look of shock was one of those Master Card priceless moments.
The Revolution is on in Wesley Chapel and New Port Richey!!!!

A WalMart Trip Turned Around
Dani Ball, 33, Zephyrhills, FL, US
Well, I had a bit of a stressful grocery trip ahead of me this morning and WalMart's aisles were packed to the gills with people filling their carts. Two hours in to my shopping trip I was frustrated, hungry, and ready to check out. I headed to a lane, checked out, and then went to the McDonald's that is in the store. I ordered a cheeseburger, an iced tea and a $5 gift card. We are a bit strapped for cash this year, but I wanted to do a little something. When I gave the gift card back to the McDonald's cashier and asked her to give this to the next person in line she just looked at me. I had to explain it a couple of times to her. The cashier next to her got it and used it to pay for her customer's order (an older gentleman's food- which was only like $2), so they were going to use the rest of the gift card for the next person who came up to the counter. So I actually got to help out two people. The cashier was really stunned. She said she had NEVER had anyone do that before and how nice that was of me to do that just because. As I turned the corner to go and fill up my cup with iced tea, the older gentleman that I had paid for came up to me, thanked me and wished me a Merry Christmas. It was a great feeling. I thought that only having a few dollars to spare wasn't going to make an impact, but I was proven wrong. I ended up impacting the workers at that Walmart's McDonalds, that gentleman, and whoever ended up getting the rest of that gift card. It was amazing...It was a great way to end a stressful shopping trip at Walmart.
