Uncoordination = Opportunity!

On Thursday a group of us were preparing & painting all of the stars, peace signs, Christmas trees, & other stage decorations that we'll use on Sunday @ FRC-Lima when we kick off The Gift Revolution series here, & in a mind-boggling act of uncoordination, I tripped off of a small step, dropped a pile of large particle boards, kicked over a can of yellow paint, & suffered a deep, nasty, bloody gash on my ankle. I couldn't have done all that if I'd planned it! One of the maintenance workers from our condo tower came right over, & immediately went to work cleaning up the spilled paint & blood (it was a deep wound). The maintenance worker did such a great job that you never would've known I'd been so clumsy just moments before! We rewarded him w/ a big tip & a little card. He was very happy. He probably hopes I trip & gash my ankle again! Viva la revolucion!

A Unseen Gift

Yesterday Thursday December 4, I was inspired to spread a word of how to be "REAL" to other young guys in my city. The gift I gave was a gift that cannot be seen or can be touch but I taught other young guys to become "REAL". I was always raised to worry about myself and no one else. The first 15 years of my life was a waste but yesterday was a turning point for not only me but for the 15 people I spoke too. "REAL" simply means Living for a higher power (GOD). but people get confused that this can only happen in a religion or in church. But being "REAL" is simply living to your full potiential by being Caring, Loving ,Forgiving, Merciful, having Self-Control, and living with FAITH all your life. By beliveing in goals and dreams you cant see and always keeping your head up and never allow nobody to steal the gift GOD has givin you. I gave this gift to these people and they will not be the only ones to hear this word. Im not prideful and If those that heard that message is not cause of me but the dream GOD has put into my life. Influences changes a persons life and Im convinced that with one word a and one decision a person makes to accept this Eternal Unseen Gift from not man but GOD and to become a extraordinary person and this world we live in will change before our eyes. Always keep your head up and always go beyond your limit never say you cant because with GOD everything is possible. GOD BLESS.

I help with a jail ministry that is hosted by another church. The lady that spearheads it speaks about Christ never a doctrine, I love this ministry. Well because the ladies in the jail don't have access to a computer and I didn't want them to be reminded once again how low their life is I made a version of the "gift revolution" card but, on the front, I did give the inspirational credit to the "gift revolution and the Holy Spirit." It is a jails version, trade a service (braid someones hair, read to those that don't know how, etc.)I had very little space on the back of the business card so I simply explained that Jesus didn't come with big $, ribbons and bows but with love, He showed us how to do it. So 'tag u'r it.' This Sunday in our small town jail 87 of those cards will go out to our inmate sisters in Christ. That isn't the best part of the story. When I gave the cards to the lady over this ministry she loved it and said we should keep one of these cards to do it again in the years to come. I had just come from the printers and had the template and more unused business cards, I gave her both of them with an original 'Gift revolution.com' card. So for years yet to come(should God tarry)the ladies that are in 'time out' will play "TAG U'R IT" inspired by 'the giftrevolution.com' and the Holy Spirit. I love it.

Taking a "COMPLETE" stranger h

My friend and I were at Mcdonalds eating our food. And we were suppose to go stufy for out final exam at barnes and noble right after. While we were eating we were faced with a neighboring situation. An elderly lady came up to US to help her find her house because the city bus left her. So my friend and I came out of our time to look for her house. His fuel light came on because he didnt have enough fuel in his car. Long story short, we were driving around ft. lauderdale for an hr and 15min looking for her house because she didn't know where her house was either. When we finally found it, she was completly excited and started kissing the sky, her hand, then us, saying "Thank you and i love you both. God bless you both". I'm happy my friend and I were at the right place at the right time. The Gift Revolution is still occuring.

Fat Lou's & Grace =TGR Blessin

I was going to pick up lunch at Fat Lou's on Hallandale Beach Blvd. and while waiting asked the waitresses how things were and one seemed like she was having a bad day. So I asked her what was the matter and she explained that she had accidentally pushed the wrong amount for a customer's order and now the manager was making her pay for the mistake and she really was in need of that money. So I asked another waitress there how much and she said $21. I knew it was God's grace that even though I had brought my Credit Card to pay for mine and my boss' lunch I just happened to also have noticed that I had brought a $20 Bill and some ones before I came in the restaurant. So I decided God was giving me a nudge to make someone's day go from Bad to Great and that someone was looking out for her. Also I had just attended the TGR Rally last night at Cooper City and Pastor Troy said sometimes TGR would be a painful process so I sacrificed this money and what it would have brought for me to someone who was hurting and needed encouragement. All the waitresses' were shocked and surprised by my actions but I told them it was a gift that I was giving to fulfill someone's need. They all took TGR cards and were eager to how they also could join the TGR movement. They decided not to let the 3 Hamburgers go to waste so they wrapped them up for me which I used for another TGR Blessing & Thank You and gave them to one of our customers who dropped by when I got back to my office. I promised the Fat Lou's waitresses' that everything was going to be okay and to not let anyone take away their peace since they always admire my calm presence when I am there. I also told them it was not overnight for me to get this peace but ever since I have found it I never want to lose it. I sense God is preparing their hearts to let Him in their lives and I am someone to encourage them to that decision. One waitress even hugged me because she was happy to see me. I truly thank God that I could be selfless at that moment to show someone the power of a Gift that would result in a lesson on Grace. We all make mistakes and that is why God's Grace is such a beautiful and unconditional gift of Love for all of us especially when we stumble in life. troop letter

my school james e. bazzell middle school in scottsvill kentucky took up donations for troops it wasn't money but food and other everyday supplies we sent them off on november 14th. some students even went so far as to wirte letters of support.I was one of them. I wish that others would also take the time to tell and inform troops of how much they appricate what is being done to keep the citizens of the u.s.a free and safe. GOD bless and happy holidays

I just wanted to tell the story of a very god loving church that is victory hill see my family was wanting to attend the church dinner and thearter. well sunday after survice I had them put us on the list by wed i had them take us off due to the fact that my family and i could not afford to go. so i asked her to remove our names. i attended the womens ministeries and after i went to get my daughter well here came kelly running up to me to tell me that i recieved a gift someone had bought my family and i the tickets to attend this dinner. mind you after the week of terrible finacial god pulled threw to show me that he new i was wanting this and that yes he is there and reminding me that im his daughter! and to tell me that when i got saved that i have now a new family his family thank you for listening to my prayers!! and thank you to victory hill for the gift and the love that you all have showed since i have attended this wonderful family!!

Disney Ice Cream

I wanted to start my revolution in a place where "dreams come true"...Disney World. So while there I made it a point to allow God to signal to me which ice cream carts to start it at. Well, since it was a cool day, there weren't many lines so I got a chance to explain that I wanted to purchase the next 2 ice cream's for the next customer that comes up to get some. She seemed a little confused at first but went along for me. As we walked away we stood next to a small crowd to see the next ice cream customer's reaction. The guy was shocked and then got the biggest smile on his face and who looked like his daughter kept saying on "how cool this is". The family after them didn't seem as excited about the gift. But maybe God will nudge one of their hearts to continue on the Revolution!

Penny Pinching Waitress

I'm a waitress at my local Pizza Hut and of course its around the holidays and I'm penny pinching for christmas. My luck, my car has some problems and I get my school loan bill that started on the first. So I've been stressed out here lately about money. Anywho.... I came into work and opened a fortune cookie that said, "if you continually give, you will continually have." Later on that night I walked up to the table to bus it and noticed $20 bill and a card on top. At first I thought it was an accident and someone had also left there credit card :/. But once I picked the card up and read it I couldn't help but to skip with a huge smile to my boss. I wanted to thank those nice people. I hope to continue this on before christmas comes, if my finances are taking care of. But if not I will definitely pass this on when the timing is right.

Drive Through!!

I was leaving the Sawgrass Mall today and decided to go to the drive through for taco bell. I was paying for my meal and I thought that since a couple weeks ago I was given a gift from someone involved in the gift revolution that I should start a chain reaction of kindness as well. So I ended up paying for the person behind as well. It was a great feeling. By being kind to others they will be kind to other people as well. It is a chain reaction. today at my high school i was standing the line at my concession stand waiting to get my daily bananna nut muffin and right in front of the girl ordered a blueberry one, i immediately stoppped her as she went to pay her dollar for the muffin and said ill pay for it and handed her t.g.r card and she was a little shocked and she read the card and couldnt believe that someone else in her school new about this amazing thing that had been going on, and i was shcoked as well and happy at the same time so she thanked me very much and i had no problem sayng your welcome with a big cheer smile =) it felt great and when i goto flamingo road church i feel amazing! its definately changed my life in so many ways!!!<3

GOLD BOX!!!

I have been attending the FRC for the pass year and I was and still so excited about the revolution. I have participated in our revolution and I cant stop telling everyone. Well after posting my first 3 gifts I saw a response to one of the gifts that I bought for someone and that was great. I was so empowered to do more. Thursday's I am out the house really early to go to class and I was the first one out the house but to my surprise there was a package that was blocking the door way not a big one but enough to knock it over. I picked it up in hurry to get to my car so I didn't continue being late. While I was waiting for my car to warm up I opened the package and to my surprise there was gift revolution card and a beautiful set of fine glassware. Who ever dropped it off must of be up really late or really early because I know it was left between the hours of 1am - 7am I felt like Santa Clause visited my house early. Thank you god for this blessing and for the person that dropped off the gift. Thank you to who ever you are and I know God will make things happen in your life!!!

Starbucks

I went to starbucks with my brothers and my dad over the recent weekend and we decided that we were going to go home and collect change to change the world. So We collected 60 dollars worth of change and took it to starbucks. WE bought a giftcard with 60$ on on it and paid for about the next 20 people in line. The reactions were amazing and we influenced about 10 people to show up at church the next week.

I was offered a chance to proctor an exam that would pay $300 for a few hours of basically walking around while people took a test. There was only one opening and it was offered to me...EASY MONEY - especially for Christmas shopping!! But instead of accepting the offer, I offered it to my cousin who could use the $$ way more than me. She accepted. I didnt think about it again, until 3 days later when I got a call that someone had backed out and they had another opening to proctor the exam! So I gave the $300 away, and it came right back to me!! Too cool!
