She Lost Her Car at WalMart
Joanne, 44, Little River, US
You know what it's like... wandering the parking lot, lot wondering where on EARTH you left your car. I knew that look on the older woman's face. She said she thought she parked in that area we were in and told me what color and make her car was. I managed to find it, three or four rows of cars away from where she was, and just two cars away from a very Revolutionized little white car. When I brought her to the row, I pointed out that she was just two cars away from theGiftRevolution.com car, and told her as I handed her a card that I was a part of the Gift Revolution too, and now, so was she!

2nd not as good as the 1st
Joella, 21, St. Leo , US
So my 1st gift went so well that I was pumped to do the second one. I decided that there was a girl in my class who i wanted to invite to New Walk since I know she is not a believer. I went to class early and took and put the Card with an dollar attached in her chair. I was pumped when she came into the room hoping she would be shocked except that didn't happen. Instead she throw it to the ground saying it was only a dollar and that it was probably a scam.
I'm a little discourage but I am going to keep the revolution alive.

Ci Ci's Pizza
Kevin Dobbs, 37, gallatin, US
I was in finished ordering, I told the cashier that I would like to purchase an additional 2 buffets. She rang them up and asked, "how will I know who these are for?", I said I didn't even know who they were for except that they should be for the next 2 customers and if she would could she please give them the TGR card. She looked at the card front and back then asked, "what kind of promotion is this, what do you get for doing this?" I briefly explained what was going on to her and then proceeded down the buffet line. Later on an elderly gentleman came over to my table and thanked me for the "treat". Before leaving his wife came over and told me "we don't have a computer, why did you do thid for us?". I got the pleasure of speaking at length of The Gift Revolution and what it meant to me and the goals that we had in doing this. When she left I overheard her telling her husband "well I am going to do something for someone before we get home tonight....that was such a nice thing!!" I will tell you ...IT MADE MY NIGHT!!!

Free Dinner
Carlos, 29, Pembroke Pines, US
This evening I went to pick up a quick dinner for my wife and me at KFC. To my surprise when I get to the window, the clerk says that the Lady in car in front of me just paid for my meal, and he handed me the paid receipt along with the thegiftrevolution.com card. I thought that was pretty awesome. I am very grateful for the meal my wife and I were able to enjoy. Thank you to the creators of this group, and you have inspired us to pass along a gift to someone as well. We would love to share the joy with another person this holiday season.

Early Holiday Gift at Costco
Arlene R., 41, Miami, Florida, US
Thanksgiving Weekend I went shopping at Costco for some items, like I do every week. To my surprise, a lady who only identified herself with a "The Gift Revolution Card" insisted on paying for my purchases. I was overwhelmed with the generosity of a complete stranger. My eyes got watery and all I was able to say is "Thank you". I asked her about the organization and told her that I would visit the website. The season is truly one of giving.

Changing that face
Josue, 32, Lima, PE
Driving in Lima is insane. You have a thousands of "combis" and "ticos" driving like Speed Racer.
Today i took a taxi and the driver was very upset because of Lima's traffic. Just before arrive home, we almost crushed with a big bus and it become a fight between both drivers.
Finally when i got home, i pay him, and he said: I DONT HAVE CHANGE! he was near to a breakdown i think. I just said: this is a gift for you, and give him a gift revolution card.
It was incredible how his face changed! From a devil face to a big smile one.

Faith Given
Laura Turner, 37, Hendersonville, US
I am standing in McDonalds in St. Petersburg, Florida waiting for our lunch. I noticed that one of the workers was slightly off. After observing her I realized that I think she had a form of turrets syndrome. Not that she blurted out obscure words, but she had a nervous switch in her arm. Her arm would just all the sudden flip out and very fast and she never realized she was doing this. I watched as one of her co-workers grabbed her arm and told her very loudly if she does that one more time she was going to break her arm. The women apologized profusely and went on to wait on customers. The co-worker began to make fun of her with another co-worker.
I got my food and prayed asking God how was I to help this poor women. While my children and I ate, I kept praying, because I knew God wanted me to do something and I had no idea what to do to help the women and not make things worse. I knew whatever I did needed to be discrete.
My daughter was going through my change, and some of the coins spilled out. As I was helping her to put things back I found a coin that was given to me in 2002. I have never taken it out my wallet (even though I have changed my wallet more than a dozen times, I have always put the coin back in my purse). This coin is the size of quarter and on one side it is a cross inscribed in the cross is Jesus Christ is Lord, and the other side is a message of hope reminding us that Christ is my Lord if I let him be.
I knew at that moment that I was to give her the coin. I prayed again that God would give me an opportunity to see the women away from her other co-workers. As we were throwing away our trash, she was at the drink stand. I went over to her and took her hand opened it placed the coin in it and closed her hands. I told her this coin was her reminder that her Faith will see her through. She told me holding back tears that she had a strong faith. I told I know that she did, but this was to remind her never to forget what Christ can do for us and what he can give us and that she needed to hold on to her faith for it is being tested. As I left I looked backed and watched as she placed the coin in her pocket and wiped her eyes. I have prayed for her everyday and her face is still in my memory. The look on her face was that of someone who knew that there are people who do love me.
I find myself wondering if the whole world began a Gift Revolution what peace would come to this earth, instead we (all of us participating in the Gift Revolution) are changing the world with One Act of Random Kindness, and with that we will affect the world in ways that we can’t even imagine, because God’s blessing are always more than we can imagine or even dream of. Find encouragement that although we may not see results quickly, as we so wish to have happen, we must wait patiently on the Lord and he will give us our hearts desires. May you all go out with an open mind to see where God wants use you.

Fun in Disney
Laura Turner, 37, Hendersonville, US
As I began the Holiday season, I have not really felt like celebrating any of the Holidays. I still am not in any mode to celebrate, but I have a desire to give the gift of hope to someone even though I may not have any hope. I have a lot of Faith and Trust, but I don't see any hope for me. When Pastor Terrell spoke about the Gift Revolution I have been praying about how can help with this opportunity that Christ has given me,
When the opportunity came for me and my children to visit my mom in Orlando, Florida for Thanksgiving, I hesitated. I had just signed up to help hand out hot drinks to shoppers on Black Friday with Freedom Church. I was hoping this would be a way for me to help someone else. I have always had a strong desire to want to help someone so that their burden is not so overwhelming giving them some hope that all will be okay, if we just trust and have faith in Jesus.
As I prayed about my decision I felt such a strong calling to go to Orlando. I spoke with my daughter and told her that I wanted to use this as an opportunity to start our Gift Revolution. We don’t have a lot of money, so my daughter came up with the idea to get fast passes for the popular rides in Walt Disney and give them to others instead of using them, since my mom works at Disney and our family can go anytime and ride these rides. That is what we did. We got fast passes and handed them out. To see the reactions of the faces from these families was truly amazing. At first it was is this a joke, and then when they realized that it was not a joke, the excitement and relief that something they did not think they were going to be able to do was just given to them.
I pray that the very small act of kindness that we were able to give these families affects them to take the gift and keep passing it on. The gift is not the fast pass, but Love. The love Christ had for us when he was placed on a cross for our sins, so that we could have a relationship with our creator while here on earth, and then have eternal life when God calls us home. None of us can even imagine the pain that Jesus had to endure, and he endured it all because he Loved us more than the pain and suffering.
So, as I begin the holiday season, I may not have much hope that anything will ever change for me, I have Faith and Trust that I have given the Hope to others, and for that I am grateful and thankful to Christ for opening up opportunities for me and my family.

Revolutionizing Maryland
Joyce Patino, 39, Pembroke Pines, US
I traveled to Baltimore, Maryland for the Thanksgiving holiday. While there, we went to the National Aquarium in Baltimore. I paid for my entrance and 2 more adult entrances. Told the guy behind the counter to give the tickets to the next people in line and gave him a Gift Revolution card as well. I asked him to give that to them as well and told him to tell them to pass it on. The look on his face was awesome. He was so surprised!

Cards on Cars
Valerie, 28, Miami, US
I had some of the cards left that I had mailed out to people. I taped TGR card in them, wrote "Merry Christmas!" and placed them behind the wipers of a few cars at Dadeland Station. I hope they make the people who receive them smile.

some well deserved pampering
Erie & Elvira Rodriguez, 100, Miami , US
My co-worker, Gladys, dedicates a lot of herself to serve others but unfortunately, in the process, she forgets to treat herself. She has been asking me for months now who I get my hair done with and I have given her my stylist's info several times, however, she has not gone. I don't know whether she hasn't gone because of monetary reasons or because she hasn't had the time but my husband and I felt that she could use some pampering as she is always concerned for others and seldom has time for herself so, just now, I gave her a blank check made out to my hair stylist so that she can go whenever she'd like and get her hair done, and the Gift Revolution Card of course. She certainly deserves it!
Happy to have joined the Revolution. Keep it going!

A Gift....Shocking?
Erica Potter, 23, Zephyrhills, US
So I decided to participate in theGiftRevolution thanks to my church, New Walk in Zephyrhills Fl. I went to the gas station at about 9:30 one night. I needed a bag of ice and I took a $20.00 bill with me. I purchased the ice and when I got my change I took $15.00 and gave it to the cashier. I asked her if she could give it to the next person who came in to purchase gas and tell them to visit www.thegiftrevolution.com. She looked at me with shock!!! As if I was crazy, really. She ased me if she should know the person....if it was someone I knew or someone expecting it. I simply told her no, it was just a gift for someone random. I don't think I could ever forget the look on her face. She was absolutly shocked that someone would do something for a stranger. I will visit again next weekend to see if she paid it forward!!!
