Emails...

Corina Velasquez, 26, Hialeah, US

Hi everyone! I thought of something else...I added the TGR logo to my signature line in emails, so now when I send/receive/reply my signature along with the logo is passed on! What a neat way to share it right? Those that are curious will click on the logo, since I linked it to the site too! :) Why don't you give it a try and do the same?

Free lunch!

Lisa, 37, Pembroke pines, US

I was pleasantly surprised on Sunday when I was eating lunch at Flanigan's with my family and the waitress told us our bill had been paid. My husband and I could not believe that some anonymous person would treat a family of 4 to lunch. Whoever it was thank you and God bless you!

something small, but meaningfu

Abby Perkins, 19, Davie, US

Every Monday I bring my mom Starbucks on her break. She is a teacher at Pembroke Pines Charter Elementary Central Campus.I work at Starbucks so I get the discount! :) Today I went in for my usual, but I decided to try something different. I left 20 dollars and paid for the people behind me. Though its not paying for a morgage or anything huge, i feel like this is what God wanted me to do. And sometimes the smallest act of kindness can make the biggest difference in someone's life!

Taco Bell

Brent Wernsing, 26, Zephyrhills, US

I was in the Drive thru line at Taco Bell getting me some Big Taste Tacos(they are awesome go get one right now if you have never tried them only 99 cents), anyway when i pulled up there was no one behind but as i went to pay for my food i heard the lady taking another order. So I told her i would like to pay for the persons food behind me as well as mine. She said ok and didn't think much of it. then i handed her a Gift Revolution.com card and asked her if she would please give the customer behind me the card. She then realized what i was doing and said "WOW, people are doing this all the time, i wish someone would do it for me." It was awesome! Not only was I able to pay for that mans food, which was only like $3, but i also got to impact the lady who worked at Taco Bell as well.

Revolution in Maine

Irene & Dana Gross, 61, Little River, US

We gave considerable thought to what we would do with our Gift Revolution card given to us by Pastor Clay NeSmith of Barefoot Church in North Myrtle Beach on Sunday, November 23rd. When my in-laws were alive they were very dedicated to Oceanville Baptist Church in Stonington, Maine and it was a very important part of their lives. Therefore, we decided to send a check to Rev. Ron Libby, asking him to choose someone within his church or community that needed help with food, etc. In addition to receiving assistance, they would receive a gift revolution card, which would obligate them to do a good deed (not necessarily monetary) for someone else. I also included in the package, our Sunday bulletin, related websites and additional gift cards in the event Rev. Ron decided to start his own "revolution". We are hoping that we have started a "good deed" revolution in another state.

Publix

Robert , 37, Sunrise , US

Yesterday I was at Publix night buying a few items that I needed, when a cashier at Publix had just finished her shift and before she left she grabbed a bottle water and gave it to the cashier that was charging my items to hold on to the bottle that she needed to grab her purse and she'll be back to pay for it. I told the cashier to charge me for the water and she thought that I needed it for myself. I told her that I was going to pay for the water for the cashier and the only thing I asked from her was to give her the gift revolution card that I left her. It felt really good.

Free $20.00 gift card

Joe, 57, Florida, US

I was surfing the channels today and came across your television program. I live my life by giving and sharing, not that I have alot I still share what I have. I do things like this all the time. I was at Lowes tonight purchasing gift cards for Christmas. The wonderful lady that took care of us looked like she did not have alot. When she was activating the cards I reached over and purchased another gift card and told her to put $20.00 on the card. After she activated it I then handed it to her and told her Merry Christmas. I thought that she was going to cry. She could not believe that a stranger would give her something like this.I just told her to pass this good deed on to someone else someday. This is an awesome way to live. I firmly believe that what ever you give out you get back. Thanks joe

All of the people out there that were standing in the dark cold line for hours were VERY grateful for the small gesture. It felt awesome for us to give!!

MC Donald's Cashier's AWE

The Goodrich Family, 38, Calabash, NC, US

Tonight after Service; which was particularly special, not only because we finally got my Father-in-Law to come to Church with us (and he LOVED it!!), but because Pastor Clay's message was just what we needed to hear today; we went through the McDonald's and ordered from the Dollar menu. Although Our current circumstances are pretty dire, we know that we are not alone this year, so collectively, we decided to pay for the car behind us (a Gentleman and his Beautiful Dog), and simply sacrifice something else in exchange. Well, the Cashier was amused with us at first, asking "OH, you want to pay for the next car, do you know him?" and we said, "No". She laughed and said, "Well, y'all are just SO SWEET!" We explained what we needed her to do and then passed her a card as well...she seemed amazed, as well as I did....because as many stories we have about the "Drive-thru gifting", we can still make a beautiful impression, touch someone else's soul, lift another's spirit...all with the simple gift of Love and the message of Our God. God Bless each and every one of you, and may you be as blessed as we are. A special thanks to the woman at Church who approached me after service. Thank You ALL for all of your prayers. Peace be to All and Here's to the Revolution All of Our Love, The Goodrich Family

Lucky Numbers

Michelle , 31, Gallatin, US

This past weekend while out with my family I purchased a lottery ticket and put it in an envelope with my giftrevolution card inside. I simply wrote on the outside Good Luck & Merry Christmas. As I was walking through a parking lot I placed the envelope on the windsheild of a car. Who knows if it was a lucky ticket, but I felt like a "winner"! I look forward with my continued journey in the GiftRevolution.com!

Favorite snack for teacher

Austin, 10, Gallatin, US

The day after I went to church and got my giftrevolution cards I wanted to do something the next day for my teacher. My mom and I went to the grocery store and bought her favorite snack and I taped the card on the front of the box and snuck it on her desk. She asked who put the box on her desk, but I did not say a word...it was really cool! At the end of the day I went up to her and told her that I had put it on her desk and explained what I was challenged to do. I am looking forward to doing more acts of kindness.

Book 'Em

Steve Guschov, 43, Lima, Peru, PE

Thanksgiving night. Dorcas & I are 35,000 miles in the air, somewhere between Miami & Lima. Dorcas is reading the new book by Victoria Osteen, the wife of Pastor Joel Osteen of Lakewood Church in Houston. Suddenly, the woman seated behind us on the plane pops her head between us. "What are you reading?" she asks Dorcas. Dorcas explains that it's a book written by the wife of a Christian pastor in Houston. The woman behind us, who lives in Lima & is named Maria, is very interested, & keeps asking Dorcas more & more questions. Dorcas tells her about FRC-Lima and our ministries and projects in Lima & throughout Peru. Maria is fascinated by it all. "Where can I buy a copy of that book in Lima?" she asks. "There's no need for you to buy it," Dorcas responds. "We're going to give you a free copy!" So a copy of Victoria Osteen's new book is on the way to Maria in Lima, along w/ a copy of "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren, and of course a couple of the funky little cards with the peace sign on them. Viva la revolucion!
