We went to Gainesville, FL for Thanksgiving. I was nudged while in line buying flowers for my husband's grandfather's grave. The man behind me was holding a pumpkin pie. I bought a $5 gift card and when the cashier said I'll put this in your bag, i said no, please give it to the man behind me with this card. He looked a little confused, but said ok. I ran out, it was such a great feeling.

Publix
Marisa and Hannah, 41, Davie, US
My Gift revolution started last week, I attended the Saturday night service, Me and my 6 year old daughter left so inspired!!! We couldn't wait to get started, My little girl wanted to give the dollar we recieved from Troy and Steph to her teacher with the card, and the next day at the bank I gave the teller a gas gift card along with the revolution card, She was so surprised, then I prayed about the next person, that God would really speak to me, a couple days later as I was checking out at publix I looked at the woman behind me and knew she was the one, so I bought a gift card and as I was leaving handed it to her with revolution card, the look on her face when she received it was awesome, I think the kids at the register were also inspired! Im not done yet!! I think this is a great way to share Gods love!!

Little Boy
Livia, 13, Teresopolis, BR
Hi. As you know, my name is Livia. I actually live here in U.S. but this story takes place in where I come from, Brasil. Every summer I go there to visit family. I would stay up in Teresopolis, a city in the mountains, at my grandparents' house. In that city, there are alot of poor people. So I was walking along the street with my grandma to go souvanier shopping when I saw this little boy. He was maybe 5 or 6 years old. I noticed how he ws just standing there. Then I saw what he was looking at. A soccer ball. just a simple little soccer ball. I felt bad for him, thinking of how much he wanted it but couldn't afford it. really quickly, so I wouldn't stray too far from my grandmother, I handed him R$20. he looked at me, delited yet confused. "Here," I tell him. "You can buy that soccerball". He smiled widely and whent inside the store. At first, I wondered whether I should give him the money or not, but I realized, to make it a win win situation, I gave him the money. That way, we were both happy.

Starbucks Treat :)
Erin Greene, 25, Pembroke Pines, US
After going to church on Saturday night, I decided that it was MY turn to pay it forward. On Sunday morning, I was studying at Starbucks. When I went to the counter, I laid down an extra $5 bill, along with a Gift Revolution card, and told the barrista to leave it for the next customer. He explained to me that someone had already done this at that particular Starbucks location, and he had heard from other co-workers that other workers had witnessed the same thing! I positioned my seat so I could watch as the next customers entered the location...a young couple! They ordered their drinks, then I saw them turn around in surprise, trying to figure out what had just happened! It was great! It really gave me a sense of joy! I'm flying back to Wisconsin for Christmas break in a couple of weeks, and I plan to shovel my neighbors' sidewalks and leave them gift revolution cards as well! :)

Revolution on TARGET
Dana Jones, 42, Miramar, US
I went to our local Target to purchase a couple of gifts for the Salvation Army's angel tree. I had my two TGR cards on me and kept thinking about Troy's message that told me to LISTEN and I would know when God spoke to me about my part in the revolution. As we were in the check out line, I listened to the cashier. She was tired and looking forward to her break. She went on to say that she was wanting to get her hair done. I immediately thought ok God..I can do that but I don't know how much that would be. No sooner than the thought came to mind, she said that she hoped her daughter would give her $20 to get it done. I gave her my debit card and entered to get cash back...$20. While she was tearing off my receipt, I reached in my purse and got my TGR card, put it with the $20 she was giving me and told her to go and get her hair done. She was shocked and said she couldn't take it. I got her hand and told her it would be my joy and my honor to do that for her and that she could go to the website and it would explain it all...then I followed it up with a Merry Christmas and a wink! She smiled as did the person behind me. ;) Let the revolution press on!

Walmart
Joella , 21, St. Leo, US
I got the cards from attending New Walk Church. It was only my second visit but i like the idea. So i had to go to Walmart and i went and asked the lady to give me a gift card for 15 buck. I asked her to give it to the next person that shows up in line but she said she is not aloud so i gave it to the next person to showed up. The lady was in one of the power scooter so i told her merry Christmas handed her the gift card and the business card. She said she didn't understand and i told her the card would explain it. I hope it helps her in what ever she needs.

Bakery
Kristen and Andrew Iglesias, 17, Pembroke Pines, US
Today when our family got out of church, we went to a latin bakery to buy breakfast. Since me and my brother didnt really have money to buy everyone's breakfast, we held the door open for everyone that walked in and out and gave a couple of them Gift Revolution cards. One of the people we gave a card to attends FRC and was impressed by our way of "revolutionizing". :)
We also got an umbrella and offered to walk people to their cars even though they said it was alright. We also offered a pastry to the security guard in our community. It feels so good to be part of something so big that is really changing the world :)

A cold day at the amusement pa
Beth, 28, Ava, US
Let me just start by saying that TheGiftRevolution.com is awesome. I'm a single mother of two with not alot of money and had been praying for opportunities to help others. Well God answers prayers. Saturday a friend and me where at Silver Dollar City amusement park and while waiting in line for the bus I started putting on my gloves. The lady behind us jokingly said something to the effect I wonder how much time I'd get for taking those. We all laughed and as I boarded the bus I thought DUH! So when we got off the bus I caught up with here and give her my gloves and a card. What a chance to bless. I hope she had a wonderful day!

Gifts
Kenya, 27, Miami, US
I have two stories so far, I asked God to open up the opportunity for me to give to someone. The gate keeper at the place I stay at told me that their contract would be up and she would be out of a job. She has been the gate keeper here for years, so on my way to the store I thought what could I do...I ended up buying her some gift wrapped chocolates. I handed the chocolates to her and the sadness that was in her eyes went away. She had this big smile on her face and said to me thank you so very much, I will keep this for my birthday present. I asked her when was her birthday and she said on Christmas!
The other story is for today after church, I went to Mcdonalds and told the cashier that I would be paying for the lady behind me and I said give her this card, the cashier was really rude and said I can't pass out any cards! I said to her "please give the lady behind me this card, I'm paying for her meal" and then I drove off, forgetting to get my food I had ordered. I turned back around and went inside the Mcdonald's and told them I forgot my food bag, the cashier gave the lady whose meal I had paid for my bag along with the card! But it was okay, they gave me my order again and I asked them did they give the lady behind me the card whose meal I paid for they said yes and she was very shocked that someone paid for her meal she couldn't believe why anyone was doing that. I remember when Pastor Troy said that to give even to people who look like they have more money than you, the lady behind me was driving a Lexus Jeep.

A Simple Gift
Brian Vasil, 37, Davie, US
This time I got the opportunity to help out my neighbor behind me. He is an older gentleman and had left his garbage can out by the street. I rolled it to the back in front of his gate and left a Gift Revolution card under the rim of the can. It doesn't always have to cost something to inspire the world... :-)

Mystery Latte
Mateo Samuel Garcia, 34, Pembroke Pines, FL, US
I was working at Starbucks (Sheridan/Dykes) and attending the Drive Thru. I opened the window and a young lady handed me her credit card and a black card that said The Gift Revolution. She stated that she wanted to pay for the car behind her as long as I gave her the black looking business card. I agreed and rung her up. The mystery giver said that the lady behind her looked really sad. I told the mystery lady that it was really cool that she was doing that. We said goodbye and drove off.
The recipient of the gift rolled up and put down her window. She did look a little sad. She had a baby seat in the back and had a small handfull of cash in her hand. I told her that the person in front of her payed for her drink and asked me to give her this card. She was taken back, I could see. She asked, "Was it a guy?" I replied, "No, it was a lady." She looked grateful and in wonderment. I said, "Goodbye and have a great Holiday!"
These events took place on Friday November 28th 2008 between 11:00am-12:00pm

From Acapulco
Anonimo, 54, Acapulco, Gro., MX
I went to Sanborns in La Costera with my family to have lunch and when I was about to pay for the check, the waitress told me that some one paid for my meals... and she gave me a card with this website... I'm being reading the stories and this is a great project... I already bought some gifts to give away with my grandkids... is a good lesson to teach them about generosity and also about a good reason to be anonymous... We hope this project really reaches the world.

Trip to Saint Pete.
Mickel M. Mulchan, 29, Miramar, US
Ok this is what happened....and I think this is soo kool... today I went to Saint Pete with Kev and my Fam.. just before the Skyway bridge there is a Toll plaza.. and decided and the last min to gift the car in the back. We gave the money and card to the toll operator and told him that I was paying for their toll and to give them the card.... he said “oh you guys are back again :)" and he said it with a smile.. The fact that this thing has stretched all the way there without the RevVan going there is pretty wicked!!! We totally happy about that and knowing people are seeing what we are doing to change the world :)

Right in front of me
Kathryn Williams, 20, Portales, NM, US
My fiance and I just recently move to New mexico from Texas with only the things we could fit in the back of our truck. My sister-in-law paid a downpayment and the deposit for an apartment and bought us groceries until we could pay her back. She helped out so much and started taking me and my 10 month old daughter to church where she was dedicated to Jesus. It was amazing. My daughter has Optic Nerve Hypoplasia(her doctor says she can only see shadows and light). Her kindness has inspired me to want to give back. I work at McDonald's in the morning and the other day a woman came in to the restaurant and gave me 5 Gift Revolution cards and told us to give 2 apple pies to the next 5 people that went through the drivethrough. I've noticed that when you find the Lord as your savior all the good in the world comes to your attention.

Give The Gift
Anonymous, 30, Sunrise, US
I don't go to Flamingo Road but, I have many friends who attend the Cooper City Campus. The last couple weeks I've seen a lot of my close friends in financial crisis. Whether losing their job, marriage and job difficulty with another, and another where a friend I just made needed money for a class. How were these needs going to be met by God. I couldn't just stand there hearing their stories and not do anything. God allowed me to sow a $100 into each one of their circumstances and I don't even barely have that myself. The Gift Revolution is truly God revealing His Son Jesus Christ corporately through His body!
