88.3 The Wind FM & McDonalds

Buffy Posey, 41, Ava MO, US

Yesterday morning I took a plant to 88.3 the wind fm in springfield. KC came out to meet me and I spoke with him about our revolution that we have started and I told him that the plant was a gift and would he like to help spread our revolution. He said yes that this was awesome and he was going to check the site out. He gave me a big hug and I asked him if he would like extra cards to hand out also. He took about 10 of my cards. I also found out yesterday that the meal that I paid for a lady in the drive thru at McDonalds created a chain reaction. Everyone kept paying for the next individual. This is so exciting and God is touching so many lives right now. AWESOME!!!!

Kroger

Krystal:, 12, Little River, US

Sunday night at six me and my mom went to barefoot church. When our padtor gave us the cards and the dollar i did not know what to do with it at first. When my mom said she had to go to the store i thought of an idea, like in the video the girl attached the dollar to something with one of these cards so they go on this web site. We both put our dollars in something with a card so someone would find it! It was so much fun. :)

McD treats at McD's

Gene Mc Donald, 39, SUNSET BEACH, NC, US

I was on line at a McDonalds in Conway SC this morning.I ordered a Hot cake breakfast and a diet soda(of course, watching my caloric intake). I noticed this person behind me on line who looked as though he could use the calories more than I. I had a Gift card in my pocket and presented it to him along with the breakfast receipt. He asked if I was sure and I said it was a gift from me to him and to enjoy. He thanked me and as I walked away, he was reading The Gift Revolution card and smiling, but not nearly as much as I was inside

what really matters

Christina, 34, Ava, US

A family has been on my heart for quite some time. The father is struggling with cancer and this holiday season is probably the most precious in their lives. I saw his wife this past weekend and God placed on my heart how much I have and what really matters in this life. Love and family are everything. God has blessed me with so much in this life and it's time to pass it on. So, I sent her a card and an encouraging note and a check to help them with medical bills or Christmas gifts. Say a prayer for them if you read this, ok?

Double Cheeseburgers

Beth Murray, 28, Ava, US

Monday I was on the way to the doctor's office in Springfield and I stopped by the McDonald's in Rogersville while in line a car pulled up behind me I soon began praying for that car and when I got to the window I paid for their 6 double cheeseburgers and 4 small fries. The person at the window thought I was taking their food too. When I finally explained that I just wanted to pay for their food and for her to leave them the card she looked really suprised. I hope they felt as good at receiving as I did giving.

DQ Christmas

Renee, 30, Zephyrhills, US

Our local Dairy Queen is closing down for 2 months to remodel, as a frequent customer I know that this will affect a young mom who works there. She has a 2 year old daughter and things will be tight this Christmas. I gathered some toys which brought her to tears. Everyone in the whole store was impacted by this! The manager ran out and got a thank you card and gave it to Jenn's Angel!!! We were able to witness to so many people by one simple act of kindness!!! Now I'm the one who received the biggest blessing.

Pre-Revolution Gift

Beth Shipp, 37, Conway,SC, US

I started my gift revolution a little earlier this month and had no idea until Sunday morning at church what was about to happen with the Gift Revolution. I have been doing small deeds of kindness since Monday; but, I wanted to share my Pre-Revolution Gift. I am a person that tries to give to the people I love and care about all year long...and let them know how special they are to me. At the same time, I am a single mother of three and I don't have a lot of extra money to give big gifts....so it may just be an ecard, or a hug. But the pre-gift was different, it started a little while back when I was getting ready for work one morning.... I had said my morning prayer and was putting on makeup when it came to me so clearly! I decided to take my mom and grandmother to the mountains. The same day I planned it all out and made the reservations. My grandmother had a pacemaker put in about 2 years ago and since that time had been fighting a battle just to feel good again.... with a few scares for us along the way. She loves the mountains, especially in the fall. My mom had several added stress factors to her life too. It was a struggle at first to get those two to go. We all like to be the giver but not so much the receiver....the apple doesn't fall far from the tree with all of us. They did not want me to spend money, worried about the economy. Basically, I had to say it was a done deal and we were going. So we left the world behind for a few days, staying at a beautiful cabin in Pigeon Forge....on a mountain. My grandmother felt and acted like a new person ....this was the best gift I could have ever prayed for. She said she had never seen the trees look so beautiful. I don't think my mom or I had either....the variances of colors were unbelievable. It was a perfect weekend; and, now we will always carry the memories of this trip with us. God truly blessed me to be able to do something so wonderful for the two best women I know. Today's gift ....I bought a dozen donuts, placed a Gift Revolution card on top.....wrote in large letters on the box the website, leaving them in the breakroom for my coworkers, while trying to be unnoticed. Even though this gift is nothing compared to what I witnessed the first of this month in the mountains....it still feels great to know I probably made someone's day with a simple donut. My goal is to keep the Revolution going! It is truly amazing the power of a gift!!!! =~)

I Tried to Remember Your Face

Chris, 59, Ava, MO, US

I stopped in at Starbucks in Aurora, Mo and left five Revolution Cards and the money to buy coffe for the next five customers. The young lady behind the counter looked at me like I was crazy. I gave her a little more explaination and told iher it wasn't a scam and I wasn't going to make money from this. It was just a way of sharing Christ's wish that we love one another. I went back the next day and asked her how it went. She gave me a puzzeled look, then a look of surpirse. "It's You!" "My supervisor told me to remember your face and all I could remember was the mustache and goatee." "This was so cool!" "I put all my exeriences on my Facebook account and on the Revolution website". "Thanks for sharing this with me."

Sharing the "gift"

Corina Velasquez, 28, Hialeah, US

Wow, what a great service we had last weekend...it's Wednesday and I am still pumped about it. I was impressed when Pastor Troy said that he was giving everyone a dollar. At first I thought, "how lame is that, what am I going to do with a dollar?" Then God spoke to me; I realized that it was not about the dollar, it was about sharing the "gift". So these past few days since the service, I have been asking God to enlighten me as to what I can do. Sure enough, he has nudged my heart... I decided to write a letter to my friends and replicate the same method of giving each a dollar with a "TGR" card. Funny how things turn out for us right, just a few days ago I thought it was the stupidest thing, and here I am doing exactly that! I went to the bank and took out $50 in singles. Each of my friends will get a letter I wrote about how special they are to me and how I would like to share the "gift" with them. At the bottom of my letter, I encourage them to do the same by asking, "what will YOU do with the "gift"? This holiday season, be encouraged to change a life. This simple idea, can explode into so much more in people's lives. You never know if God will select you to be the one to change them forever! Thank you FRC! Can't wait to be there again this weekend, for round 2 of "TGR"!!! Share the "gift"! :)

Jon, Jen, Bianca, Justin, Pris, 18, Pembroke pines, US

After Sundays service, 5 of us went to Chilis and decided to start our revolution there. Our waitress (who was SO nice) recieved almost a 100% tip. I think we were off by a few bucks but it was SO awesome. She was so happy. the best part about it was that her name is "joy". How fitting. :) we all cheered and high-fived outside and formed a ruckus! hahaha

Starbucks, Cup of Coffe & Skat

Lily C., 36, Phoenix, AZ, US

I am in Arizona for Thanksgiving week. I am from Pembroke Pines, FL. I was in a Starbucks at the Arrowhead Towne Center Mall in Glendale, Arizona waiting my turn in line. There was young guy in line (in front of me). He was asking the cashier and I if we thought he should get his coffee hot or cold. In the end, we suggested hot since he was going to skateboard home. Right before he paid, I stepped in and said: "Hey, I'll get that for you." and gave him a Gift Revolution card. He didn't understand at first, thought there was a catch, but then I explained what it was and both him and the cashier thought it was really cool :-) I plan to continue being part of the revolution while in Arizona and then when I return to Florida :) Blessings, Lily

25 days to inspire!

Jenny Martin & Samy Diaz, 18, Kendall, US

My friend Sam and I were on one of our routine lunch dates when we decided for the first time that we would eat outside of FIU's grounds. Nothing big, Just Wendy's... but when we got there we saw three kids sitting at the booth right next to us. Immediately, we got up from our seat and ordered three chocolate frosty's with M&M's and gave it to them with the revolution card and a smile, nothing more. To our surprise however, they turned around and started asking us about the revolution! we simply told them that there is joy and inspiration in giving random acts of kindness, that we wanted to inspire the world, and to check out the website. they were elated! and so were we!
