Thank you
Ingrid Miranda, 33, Hollywood, US
My name is Ingrid and I am 33yrs old..
I work w/ general surgeons in a medical office. My way of reaching out to the world was by buying a bunch of THANK YOU CARDS and sending them out to everyone. I sent them to patients, to friends, to family, even to Recovering American Soldiers at the Walter Reed Medical center in Washington..
My thought on this is this one-
we need not have a reason to say Thank You..
Thank you can take a person a very long way.
THANK YOU- just for being YOU!!!
We never know what heart we will touch or even at what moment these "Thank You's" will reach someone... Its all about timing.
I am also thankful for the opportunity that god has given me to do sucha thing..
God Bless, Ingrid
Thank you

Publix Card
Ileana, 16, Miami , US
So today after going to the gym, I decided to make a quick stop at Publix. I got in line and had a plan already in my mind to get and give a 10 dollar gift card, to whoever was behind me. I get in line and the young lady in front of me has like 78 items. I knew I would probably be there a while. I said God, send the person who you want, to get this gift card. No more than three seconds later, the young lady turns around and says that I can skip her. I was like alright God, I can take a hint! I got in front of her and asked the cashier to give it to the lady behind me. The cashier looked at me like I was crazy but said she would do it. I hid behind the produce section ( I know, I know, crazy) because I really wanted to see her reaction. She opened the bag, looked at the card, and could not believe it. She was almost at the point of tears and then walked to her car. This is the second day of my Revolution, let's do this thing!!!

A Satisfied Customer!
John, 42, North Myrtle Beach, US
In these tough times I can’t just work for free so yesterday I had a customer who noticed some Christian stuff in our shop and asked me about my faith. When I confirmed to him that I was indeed a Christ-follower he asked me if I knew of a contemporary church nearby, something about not wanting to fall asleep during church. I told him about Barefoot Church and promised him he would not fall asleep! I fixed his problem while we were talking and when I was done he was ready to pay his bill. I told him about TGR and told him I felt moved to give him 50% off as my gift to him and gave him a card. He in turn was so moved that he paid me and gave me 25% of his savings so we both gave our first gifts! Then the best part was he said he’d see me at church!

Taco Bell
Debbie & Max, 48, Scottsville, KY, US
Last night we were eating at Taco Bell in Louisville after church. A lady walked in and ordered one of those new frozen drinks. As she was digging thru her purse for change, I went to the counter and said "let me pay for that for you". The counter girl said "what???". I gave the lady the card and told her just to do something nice for someone else in the name of Jesus and pass the card on. I don't think the lady knew what to say or do. She thanked me and took the card and left. I was blessed!

Free Gas for Neighbors
Carrie, 30, Cooper City, US
After church, I started looking for opportunities to "nudge" me. I'm a Work from Home Mom so I don't interact with that many people on a daily basis. But in the middle of the night while feeding the baby, it came to me!! Why not interact with the people right here in my community!! So I told my husband what I wanted to do and he was on board. Just this morning, we bought Gas Cards for 7 of our neighbors on our block and stuck them in an envelope w/ the card. I'm filled with joy right now and as I look down at my new son, I know I'm making the world a better place for him!

ChicFilet
Elaine, 50, Longs, US
I placed my ordered at the Chick Filet drive through for my usual '3' strips and drove forward thinking about my successful evening of "preThanksgiving sale shopping". I was smiling remembering the sales clerk that left her counter to open the door for me and thought what good customer service she had shown and that I hoped her co-workers had noticed. I drove up to the window and handed money towards the cashier for the food and the cashier smiled and said, "the person before you paid for your food this evening and said to give you this card." I immediately wanted to know who did such a thing - did they know me - did the cashier know them - why did they do that? So many emotions flooded my soul! I felt so undeserving! And then I remembered - that's what Jesus would do! He doesn't wait until I deserve good things to happen to me to give me good things, he constantly blesses me with good things! This time, he chose to make me notice the blessing - by doing it in a most unusual way! Thank you so much and I certainly plan to pass the blessing on. May God continue to richly bless and prosper you! Elaine

Not the Givers Story- But the
MSD, 49, North Myrtle Beach, US
Finally, some of us can see the true meaning of giving. It is not meant to be lifted up in our own behalf but to be done in secret, from your Heart. Once you allow the Holy Spirit to move you in a way to give, the receiver will have the Blessing to share with others. This young Follower of Christ reminded us all through God's Word how to be Givers (both of material things and of ourselves) in the name of Jesus.
Thank You,
Matthew 6:1-4

Giving to the Poor and Prayer 1 "Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. 2 "So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 3 "But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

RECIEVED GIFT
Shawnda Price, 33, Springfield MO, US
I am a server at a popular burger restuarant. In the last few months with the economy being so bad it has been very rough as far as the tips go. It is etiquet in America to tip 20%, but we as servers who make only 1/2 of minimum wage are lucky to get a 10% tip nowadays. Well, I had a very friendly couple come in who had a $35 tab, plus bought some gift cards. NO ONE tips off gift card purchases, so I expected the $4-$5 tip, but when I cleared the table I found $20 for my tip. To some it may not seem like alot, but to me and the whords of servers out there, I felt like I had won the lotery!!!! Thank You to that nice couple, and yes, I will pass the card on!!! GOD BLESS them.

Neighbors For Ever
Janet, 50, Pembroke Pines, Fl, US
I loaned my neighbor $20.00 at least 3 months ago, she's been by several times to tell me that she had not forgotten about me. I really wondered if I would ever see the $20.00 again. Well, the second day after the gift revolution began, wouldn't you know she came by with the money? She said, "thanks a lot you really helped me out". I told her to wait a second and I ran and got one of "the cards". I handed it back to her with the $20.00. I told her it would be my pleasure if she would keep the money and the card. She was speechless. I thanked God that she waited until this day to come by.
What a blessing!!!!!!!

Wal-mart
Dean's, 49, Ava, US
Tonight I took my teenage daughter to Wal-mart. We choose two cars we had prayed over and put a ten dollar bill and a card on their windsheild wyper. We hope they received as much of a blessing as we did. We want to do it more and watch people being blessed by God's grace. Merry Christmas.

I have to give
Tammy, 39, Port Colborne, CA
I am a single mom with not much to give but I give all I can.My children and I were the recipients of donations last year at Christmas.I was so overwhelmed by the generosity I donated all but a few things to even more needy people than us.My kids and I were blessed twice. We were blessed to recieve but our Christmas got better when we gave all that stuff that we would never have been able to afford to give away to someone else. WE knew immediatley how they would feel and it made our entire Christmas. We continued to do random acts of kindness and continue to be blessed beyond our means.

Food Lion
Krista Hoff, 34, Little River, US
Just wanted to share the first revolution for our family. After we recieved our $1 each at church this Sunday along with the cards we went to Food Lion to purchase a few things for lunch that day. Our 3 children walked around the store looking for someone to bless with their $1 that they each had. They really couldn't figure out what they should do with their money. We finally made it to the check out line to pay for our items. My 11 year old son whispered to me that the elderly gentleman in line behind us only had a bottle of laundry detergent and that we should put our money together and make the purchase for him. I handed the gentleman one of the cards and told him Merry Christmas as I discretly paid his bill. He said Merry Christmas in return as we as a family left the store. On the way out I heard the man try to pay for his purchase and they cashier told him we had taken care of it for him. We watched him from our vehicle as he left the store. He was looking around the parking lot and smiling! Our children were so happy on the way home and are thinking of things to do next for the revolution!

NEEDED GAS, NO MONEY
Telma, 21, Fort Lauderdale, US
I was leaving Publix because I stopped in for a bag of gummies (my fav), and I saw a woman asking around for a few dollars for gas money. She explained that she was completely out and she had her family in the car and they needed to go down to Miami to pick up some medication. I don't normally have cash on hand, only using debit/credit cards, so I felt bad having to turn her down. I felt bummed at first because I really wished I had something to give her, I felt like it was an opportunity wasted. After asking around some more unsuccessfully, she then came back to me one more time with a distressed look on her face, like she was getting frustrated. I knew there was a reason she had come back to me. God must have really wanted me to make the most of this moment. So it dawned on me. I asked her to follow me up about half a block to the nearest gas station where I could fill her up with my card. She looked super excited and ran back to her car. That alone made me smile, so after we got there, I paid for the gas and before leaving, handed her a card and left with a "God Bless", got in my car and left. Here's hoping she got to where she needed to be, and for the ongoing progress of The Gift Revolution :)
