It's Time for a REVOLUTION!!!
Krista, 21, North Myrtle Beach, US
Sunday evening after church my friend and I went to the movies to go see Twilight. We had decided during church that we were going to pay for the people behind us ticket. So we go up to pay for out ticket and there are a couple ladies behind us, we tell them their tickets are paid for and hand them their card. We explain to them what it is and they were a little confused but they did the same thing for the people behind them! It turns out we were all going to see the same movie, plus, karma is amazing. They had senior discounts so their tickets were only half as much, we could've paid for two people. I also gave a ride to a coworker and handed him the card, he was pretty excited about it. It is such a rush to do something nice for someone and also to explain to them what's going on and see their expressions!!

My Babysitting Gift
Brandi Goodrich, 14, Calabash, NC, US
We have a neighbor that is a single mom with three kids. I have recently been babysitting for her and tonight when she asked me to babysit for her when I got home from school, I babysat at no cost as my gift, gave her the gift revolution card and explained how it works. Even when she insisted on paying me I refused to take the money, I gave her the card and told her to have a good night. I am glad for the gift Revolution and thank God for allowing me to change the world, one gift at a time!

Twice in 1 Day...
Don Holz, 48, Davie, FL, US
This morning before I left the house I asked God to give me at least one opportunity to give a gift. On the drive in to work I stopped at Publix to pick up a Thanksgiving Day greeting card. Next to the greeting cards was a rack of gift cards. Without thinking, I grabbed a Publix gift card. At the checkout I asked the cashier to put ten dollars on the card. As she placed the gift card in a bag I said, "Wait, please give that card along with this Gift Revolution card to the next person in line. We are inspiring to change the world through the power of a gift!" I gave her a Gift Revolution card too and as I was walking away I heard her saying, "Oh my, this is so nice! Oh this is SO NICE, I have CHILLS!!!" When I got in my car I thanked God and said to Him - I did ask for at least ONE opportunity today, didn't I? Please give me one more. Later, I went out to lunch with a woman in my office who is losing her job. I know this woman hasn't been to church in years, but when the check came and I paid for it and gave her a Gift Revolution card, she was touched and started asking more questions about Flamingo. I knew she felt "the nudge". I didn't push her. I just shared some incredible stories about what is happening at Flamingo. On the way back into the office she said to me that she thinks she's ready to come check us out. AMEN! Our God is an awesome God and the Revolution is HERE!!!

Dippin' into the Revolution
Kirsten Dale, 39, Ava, US
Today was the first time I've been out and about with my cards. I was at the mall in Springfield this afternoon and I was walking by the Dippin Dots kiosk where an older man was working. It wasn't very busy (1:00 on a Tuesday) so I thought he would be the perfect person to help me start my revolution. It took a couple times to explain that I wanted him to serve his next 3 customers - on me and all he had to do was give them a card. He kept asking me when the people would be coming by - and I kept telling him I didn't know :) We finally got all the details ironed out and he was so shocked. He said that is the first time in his whole life that this has happened to him and that it would be like he was giving the gift since I wasn't sticking around! I told him that was great and that Jesus loved him too so he should enjoy the revolution. Shocked again... he went on to share his testimony with me. Wow! Big gift for Kirsten!!!
This is even more fun than I thought it would be! I went on to hit Starbucks since I think from reading a lot of the other posts is almost mandatory :) and a gas station where I am sure a guy was a little surprised as well. LIVE, LOVE, SERVE!!!

Mickey D's
Ileana, 16, Miami , US
Howdy y'all!
So tonight on my way back home, we stopped at a Mickey D's right by our house. We ordered 2 warm, delicious Apple Pies and when we pulled up to the window, we gave the lady at the window a gift revolution card, and told her to give the pies to the car behind us. The cashier looked puzzled but definitely not as puzzled as the lady who received the pies. She seemed pretty stoked so I'm pretty happy that she likes apple pie. SOOOOOO worth the 1.07 it cost. Ain't no price tag on this Revolution, baby!!!!

My Other Angels
Lynn Goodrich, 38, Calabash, NC, US
I feel compelled to let you know, that in thanking my family of Angels in North Myrtle Beach today, I discovered that there were other "givers" of our gift of the $1000 that paid our November Rent and these two GROOVY people deserve all of my love as well. I had no Idea when I posted last night, but just want the two of you to know that I cannot express just how tremendous of a gift you have given us. God Bless You, thank you, and I hope one day, you will know EXACTLY the feelings which my words cannot express. All of our love to you and may you have God's Grace always,
Lynn and the Goodrich Family

TheGiftRevolution.com
Susan, 52, Plantation, US
Today, I called a friend Dave to see if he wanted my law office to help him collect monies he was owed on a job he recently completed. He needed the $600 desperately to pay his rent and electric. He mentioned that he needed $20 for gas so he could go quote another job out by our Sawgrass location. I gave him the $20, explained about thegiftrevolution.com, gave him a card and felt like a million dollars. He promised to come to our next service and give the $20 to our church! I'm so honored to be a part of FRC!

Taking time to listen to when
Sarah Briers, 39, Pembroke Pines, FL, US
Last Saturday night was beautiful! I cried tears of joy to see so many people come to the church. In the afternoon on Saturday, I went to the Jiffy Lube close to my home to have my oil changed, and I sat down next to a very friendly older woman. She had to have half of her nose removed due to skin cancer, and she had lost her husband many years before. She was there with a young companion to watch over her and she seemed not in the best health. My heart went out to her when she told me stories of hard times. When it was time for her to pay her bill, she had her companion take several credit cards up to the cashier, and all of the cards were declined! The cashier had me come to pay my bill, while the elderly woman was searching for a way to pay. I looked at the cashier and I quietly said to her...please let me pay her bill. The cashier looked at me and said "are you sure?" I looked at her and with tears streaming down my face, I said yes! I felt the most wonderful feeling come across me. I walked over to the woman and placed my hand on her cotton white hair and kissed her head and told her that it was taken care of. She looked at me and tears fell down upon her cheeks as well. She expressed how thankful she was and asked me for my name. I said my name is Sarah, and may God bless you and you have a wonderful holiday! I will most certainly never see this woman again, but I will remember her always. Her name was Gloria, and how glorious I will feel knowing that I touched someone this season. It was so perfect to come to church Saturday night, knowing that before I even knew what the sermon was going to be about...I had given a great gift of love already!

Best day ever at work!
Marian, 56, Longs, US
As I headed into work listening to K Love, I was contemplating what can I do to be a part of the Revolution. I went about my usual morning routines, taking time to ask God to lead me in what could I do to brighten
someone's day and be part of the revolution. A few minutes past when i heard a voice say "cookies". You see, I work at a Subway and decided to bake 3 dozen chocolate chip cookies, bag them up, and attach a gift revolution card to each one. I took some to the local newspaper and the rest to the bank across from our store. I asked the employees to please hand them out to their customers. It was such a great start to my day, but it got even better. Our music minister at Barefoot came in for lunch and was nice enough to get me more cards. Later in came Pastor Clay with his wife and son. As he got to the register, my employee asked to to please ring him up. Pastor Clay wanted to gift me with a tip, but we aren't permitted to add to a charge. I was so touched by the offer. So instead, he asked me to ring up the next 2 people in line and paid for them. I bagged up the two ladies lunches and handed them each a card telling them someone treated them to lunch and please visit the web site. Next comes our youth minister and his wife, they purchase a gift card to pay for the next person who purchases a $5 footlong. This was so great to not only have an opportunity to gift 36 people with a cookie, but to be a part of their gifting. This was the best day I have had in the 10 years I have worked there. Thank you all and let us all pray that the revolution explodes into something more than any of us can imagine.

Coffee
Becky Heinlein, 24, Ava, US
Today I decided to use my first card. I went to the brew shack and was going to buy my coffee and the persons behind me. When it was time for me to pay i was told someone had already paid for mine and got a card. I was kindof shocked because that is what i was going to do. I still did it and it was great. It is amazing to know this is spreading like wildfire!!

Lifting Spirits
Brandon, 30, Bowling Green, US
A woman and her teen boys, along with others from a local high school football team, were going through the drive through after a tough playoff loss at home. All of the guys were down and out after losing the game. As they entered the window, the employee informed her that her entire order was paid for by the car in front of them and then handed the lady a card. She was so excited that her boys and their friends got to see this powerful example of kindness! She got on the gift revolution website, then looked up our church and sent us an email about her story. She said that she was definately going to pass it on! This random act of kindness lifted a football teams' spirits...even if for just a moment.

The Investigation
Patty, 39, Miami, US
Well...this is typical of my life :). I left a candy bar taped to a card in the bathroom at my office another one in someone's lunchbag and a dollar on someone's desk. All had a note on it saying that I hoped this brightened their day and to pass it on. Little did I know this would turn into an investigation. Someone picked up the one in the bathroom, word got around and eventually to the security dept who then started investigating to find out if someone had snuck into our office and was leaving these notes. Thankfully, in the end, no harm done and we actually got a laught out of it. Even I did after I recovered thinking I was going to get fired over this. :) :) :)

Giving to the Poor and Prayer
1 "Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. 2 "So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 3 "But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
