Well, My wife and I heard about this GIFT REVOLUTION thing in church on Sunday. We thought it was a great idea and could not wait to get started. We decided to go out for dinner that night and thought that it would be nice to pay for someone's dinner. We watched as people waited to be seated. We were looking for a table with young Marine's but did not find any. Then we seen a young couple waiting to be seated. The young lady appeared to be an expecting mother. My wife and I both agreed that this was our couple, we waited for them to be seated and then found out who their waitress was. We asked for their bill and asked the waitress to give the couple a gift revolution card. We also asked the waitress not to tell the couple who the gift was from. It was a great feeling to give a gift with no recognition in return! Maybe we will see the couple in church on sunday... God Bless

Parking attendent
Jackie and Tom, 50, Castalian Springs, US
We make several trips to vanderbuilt hospital each month. The parking attendent has been there for awhile at the east garage directing traffic. It was a very cold day on dec. 4th the attendent had a smile on his face as always. As i walked by i handed him a TGR card and money to buy his lunch and explained that God Blesses all of us each day. While leaving he recognised the truck and then he made a jesture from his heart thanking the Lord for the blessings.

Veterans on Christmas Day
Janessa S., 20, Jacksonville, NC, US
Every year for the past 5 or so years my family and I put together gift baskets (toiletries, candys, and little things of the sort. We go to the VA (Veterans Affairs) hospital every Christmas morning and pass them out to the quadropolegics and paraplegics. Most men can hardly talk but you can always tell by the look in their eyes how grateful they are to have such little things such as q-tips, as one man cried about getting from us two years ago. Then there are other men who just love to have company for a few minutes on Christmas day since they are all alone and have no families. Please Pay It Forward, random acts of kindness!

Pay It Forward, just like the
Janessa S., 20, Jacksonville, NC, US
My neighbor and I both have our husbands deployed and didn't feel like cooking this evening. So we decided to go get something fast and cheap because we are low on money right now. So we decided to go to Taco Bell and order a quick dinner. So we ordered and when we pulled up to the window the cashier had told us that our food was paid for by the lady in front of us. At first I thought she meant by accident, maybe she would have to re-ring our order back up to have us pay. But it was a random act of kindness! We were so surprised. The cashier gave us our food along with the cards the lady had left behind. So here I sit sharing my story wondering how I can "Pay It Forward" to someone else! Thank you, whoever you were!

Sharee Ellison, 30, Orange Park, Fl, US
OKay so Sunday morning just after first service the girls and I ran over to Target to pick out some cookies and packaging and the sort for the Ladies Cookie Swap upon check out I felt impressed to give to the cashier ! She was extremely happy and polite and then after she handed me my change I grabbed a Gift revolution card and some money and handed it back to her. She asked, "what is this for?". I said just for you to enjoy and have a Merry Christmas. All that I ask is for you to do something kind to someone else in return. As her eyes filled with tears she said I know just who I am going to do this for. There is a family and they need this so bad!" As tears ran down her face She and I hugged and The customers just calmly waited. With tears and a smile she greeted the next person as she kept smiling and looking back at us as we left.
Thank you Journey for helping me remember the TRUE Meaning Of Christmas! :) We love you all!

A Cold Two Weeks
Jessie, 25, Gallatin, US
Our heating unit recently went out. My husband and I were very concerned and praying for help. We have 3 small children and live in an older home where the electric heaters are not very safe. We were declined 4 different loans. With the winter coming soon, we didn't know what we were going to do. An anonymous donor gave us $1,000 and the gentleman from the heating company not only found the part for much cheaper, he put it in for free. What an amazing blessing from both of these people.

Gift to a stranger
Jessie, 25, Gallatin, US
While checking out at the grocery store yesterday I gave the man behind me a $10 bill and card, said Merry Christmas, and walked away. The man was so shocked he didn't even say thank you. When I turned back to look after getting to the exit he was still just standing holding and looking at the money. It's a great feeling to give to a perfect stranger, but almost sad that people don't know how to react to kindness anymore

Ticket to Revolution
Jessie, 25, Gallatin, US
I recieved a $400 traffic ticket and while waiting for my name to be called during court, an old gentleman was called up for getting a ticket for driving while un-insured. He explained that he is living on fixed income and cannot afford insurance due the premiums going up. I could tell he was sincere and likely struggles to make ends meet. My heart cried for him and tears came to my eyes as they took away his liscense and led him away to the finance dept to arrange for the payment of his $160 ticket and see how he can get them back. When it was my turn, even tho I couldn't show proof at the time that I was covered to drive my husbands car, the judge allowed me extra time and dropped all other charges. I paid for the man's ticket. It was a great feeling!

planning it out
Shannon, 36, West Plains, US
Today in church our pastor passed around a bucket and told everyone to take out a small bundle of cards. He explained the Gift Revolution concept. Both of my kids and I had each taken one, so we got a total of 30 Gift Revolution Cards. We spent this afternoon planning how we can use all of them before Christmas. We came up with some creative ideas, but we found it is harder to remain anonymous than one might think. We almost got caught in our first act!

A lesson in Patience
A lesson in Patience, 31, Any where USA, US
Like a lot of people in America right now my family is strugling financialy. We never really had to worry about money before so this was new to us. At first my prayers to God where why in the world are you putting is through this. And after the first month of blaming and begging God to help us he gave me the answer God said "Be Patient" Well that is when my stress went away and I decided that it is Gods timing not mine and I am to wait on the Lord and he will be faithful to our family so I stopped asking "Why" and started saying "Thank you for our health and for a wonderful marriage and through this struggle my husband and I have learned to lean on each other and have grown closer to God and each other. Well it has been 6 months and we are still living by faith and on Thursday night I checked my back account online and found that someone had transfered 2500.00 into our checking account and then the person left us a email and said "I know you are going through a hard time and I remember how you helped me a while back and this is my thanks to you". I am so glad that my husband and I remained patient and continued to seek God and stayed in his word and God did just as he promised and it was in his time when God knew we needed it the most....

Blessing the Waiter!!
The Ducklings, 33, White House, US
Tonight we took our kids out to dinner after church. The voted for Logans. We went to the one in Gallatin where we had this awesome waiter! He spoke to each child asking them what they wanted or needed, he even joked with him. It was nice to see an adul recognize a child and their abilities in a restaurant. Our food and service was fabulous! It was awesome to be able to ask our waiter about his family and even his kids. At the end of our meal, my husband said it was up to me to bless him. We tipped him more then the cost of our whole meal! In the mail today we received a blessing from my mother in law that actually happened to be the amount of our dinner out tonight. So we knew our above blessing was definitely needed!! God Rocks!!!

Leaving a Tip
Robert, 76, Clio, US
My wife had been shopping all day with her friends, and I had been working around the house. When my wife called, she asked me to pick her up at her daughter's house as there were some things for a needy family that she needed to get from her daughter's house. I did so, and we left the daughter's about 7:30 PM and started for home. I had not eaten, so we stopped a the local Big Boy restaurant for a bite to eat. After the meal was over, the waitress came over and brought the bill which was about $20. A few minutes later she came over and told us she was going on break. I pulled out a $5 dollar bill and handed it to the waitress with a TGR card. I explained to her that the tip would normally be around $3 dollars for that amount on the bill, but I was giving her two dollars extra, to do something nice for someone else. We explained that this was one of the ways we as Christians were trying to put the real meaning of Christmas back into the holiday. After asking some questions, she asked for several more of the TGR cards, as she wanted to pass them out to her friends. She thought that this idea of giving was totally awesome (her words)and it was about time that something like this was being done. She was more than willing to pass the gift idea along. It is such a simple idea, but after several incidents during the day, it is easy to see how God is working not only in us, but through us to make someone else a little happier. And of course, we get a greater blessing from doing this than the person who receives gets. God is good!

rope
Blessed, 46, Little River, US
I was putting a christmas tree in my small small car it wouldn't fit. I was worried it would fall out driving from Conway to Little River. This lady walked up and started to help me. It was raining and she said here and handed me her umbrella. Then she went back to the store and got some rope. She helped me tie my trunk lid so the tree would not fall out. pass the gift on
