I went to STAR BUCK'S coffee shop and I was gonna give this $5.00 gift card to the clerk and tell him to use it for the next customer. There was a lady in front of me who was placing her order. I listened for her total, she had a couple dollars in her hand, her bill was about $9.oo she was looking for more money cause she didn't have enough cash, so I tapped her on her sholder and handed her the gift card with the gift revolution card and told her there was $5.oo on the card, she can have it, its a gift. she said are you sure and I said yes, god bless you. she said thank you with a smile.

Gift
Jerry, 60, Davie, US
A fellow brother in Christ relocated this past year to Indiana and has been without work since relocating. He was instrumental in my joining the Men's Ministry and getting plugged in to the Usher Ministry. I decided to send him a Starbucks coffee card and one of our The Gift Revolution cards by mail. It isn't much but he can go with his wife and enjoy a hot cup of coffee knowing that someone back here is thinking of him and his impact on my walk with Christ.

GIVING AT MICHAEL'S
STEPHANIE, 27, SUNRISE, US
Yesterday, I went to Michael's to return some items, and buy some more items. There was a woman in front of me purchasing 2 carts full of items. I gave her my 20% off entire full price items coupon to use along with the gift revolution business card, and told her happy holidays. She saved over $7 and was so happy and thankful! It felt so good to give the gift and spread the happiness.

Belief
Harry Sommer, 41, Cooper City, US
I attended services at Flamingo Road Church on Sunday morning where Pastor Troy Grambling gave an inspiring talk on the gift revolution. Society pounds at us to be skeptical and sarcastic - but I was determined to keep an open mind and heart. When I got home I noticed my cell phone stopped working and since I had an important business trip to LA the next day, my wife suggested we go have lunch at the mall and then stop at the ATT store to get it fixed (or replaced). As typical with 3 kids, when we get to the food court at the mall each wants to eat in their own place, and I found myself standing alone in line at one of the chinese places. I must have been one of the 1st customers of the day and the lady in front of me was their first credit card transaction. Well the machine didn't work. The lady already had her food, but had no cash. The lady and the cashier start to argue and I'm just standing there amazed - I had the opportunity to make peace by buying the lady her lunch and have a first shot at giving a gift - less than one hour after leaving services. I just remember standing there thinking to myself, this can't be a coincidence. It just can't. So I reach into my wallet, and tell the cashier I'll pay cash for my meal and the ladies. I think they were both amazed. I forgot to hand out the 'gift revolution' card, but I did mention about how God loves us all. Spreading the message is some small way. And by the way, 30 seconds later, my wife calls me on the phone to ask me a question (remember, the phone that wss broken). I guess my phone wasn't broken any longer. Everything is possible in my Lord, Jesus.

Really Cool
Austin Olver, 10, Weston, US
My name is Austin and I am 10 years old. My parents and have not yet been to Flamingo Road Church but have been thinking about going for a couple weeks now. Whats really cool about my story is that My Dad watches all the teaches online and for the first time my family and I watched the techings on TV this Sunday which was about your revolution and gift giving. We all thought the concept behind the gift revolution was awsome. My family wanted to find out how to get to cards so we could help make a difference. So a couple hours later after watching the teachins on TV my mom and I went up to the grocery store and right after I askes if I could rent a movie from Blockbuster and she said sure. As we were checking out the lady that works there said that someone had paid for our movies and handing us the Gift Revolution card. It made me very happy to get a gift from a stranger that we do not know and my dad says its confirmation that God wants us to make a visit to Flamingo Road Church. I want to make a special prayer to the person that gave the gift and ask God to touch their lives is awsome ways.

LOOKING
Holly, 29, Plantation, FL, US
So, you all know the challenge before us is to start a GIFT REVOLUTION! Since that challenge I have been inspired to LOOK for ways to help people. So often I get so busy with the things that are on my list that I forget to help people right in front of me. The other day I was in the Grocery store. As I waited in line for my turn, I noticed the gentleman in front of me just swiped his card to pay for his groceries. The cashier handed the card back to the man and told him, in kind of an annoyed voice, it was declined. He kindly asked her to run it again. Of course the same thing happened, just this time she was a little more rude to him. As I was in total shock how this man in front of me needed some help, the cashier told the man "sir you either need to get out another card or leave your groceries." My heart totally went out to this man and I was challenged to step up and just pay for his groceries. Without even hesitating I swiped my card for him. The cashier, the man and the lady bagging the groceries all said "Ummm, those aren't your groceries." I simply said "I know, I would like to pay for his groceries." The cashier asked me why I would do that and I just told her as well as the man, "sometimes we all need help. Merry Christmas" As the man thanked me over and over, I was so excited that I was just chosen to inspire that man to help someone else. This is amazing and I am committed to being a part of "THE GIFT REVOLUTION!!"

Ms. Leslie's Story
Eric & Jen, 43, Davie, US
A while back our childrens baby sitter, who is wonderful by the way, had her car totaled in an accident. The insurance company did not give her much to by a reliable replacement car. She is a single mom with a teenage son who works so hard to make ends meet. We felt the perfect GIFT would be a brand new car, so we took her to the Hyundai dealship and purchased her a brand new Accent. I am not sure who was happier, we had such a feeling of joy seeing the look of appreciation on her face. Keep the revolution going!

Can't Wait
Adele Daniel-Bermudez , 42, New York, NY, US
was switching the channels this Sunday morning, only to stop on someone named Troy from a church I had never heard of, Flamingo Rd. As he spoke about the gift revolution, I began to understand what a wonderful act of kindness this would be. You see, just this past Wednesday, my husband, daughter and I survived a serious car accident as a result of a driver who fell asleep on the wheel and almost killed us. Our car was totaled. I feel that God gave us a new life...and what better way to thank Him than to join in helping humanity in this wonderful revolution. I am sooo excited to participate in this that I have made my cards. Not only will this make other people happy, but it will make me feel even happier.

Mom of three
Stacey K, 30, Cooper City, US
After church last night I went grocery shopping. I saw a stressed out mom of three behind me looking for money in her purse to buy groceries. I purchased a Publix gift card and told the cashier while we bagged my groceries to use it for her after I left and gave her two cards. As I drove off, I saw the mom and her girls walk out of the store and the mom had a smile I never saw the whole time she was shopping! The smile was worth more than any amount of money! I plan to do this as much as I possibly can, at least once a day, until Christmas.

Cheese Cake Factory
Sachi , 18, Sunrise, US
Well my friend and I went to go have a nice dinner at the Cheese Cake Factory in Sunrise, Fl after a movie. I left the table for a minute to go to the restroom and all of a sudden I tripped over vomet on the bathroom floor!!! It was digusting! I thought that the night was going down hill from there. Until when we were done with out dinner the waitress mentioned to us about the gift revolution and how someone gave her a card to give away and she ended up giving to my friend and I. I had the biggest smile on my face and so did my friend. It felt so nice to know that there are really such nice people out in the world giving to others like myself. If the person that did this good deed is reading this right now I would like to say THANK YOU!!! You made my day. It was so sweet of you and now I will go out and do a good deed as well. :)

Worship Leader
KB, 56, Little River, US
After evening service I pulled into Arby's and had already decided to pay for the next car, if anyone pulled in behind me. Well, of all people, our worship leader pulled in. It wouldn't be much of a surprise to just pay for his bill, since he saw me, so after I payed for mine I gave the cashier a twenty, told her to pay for the guy behind me and for her to keep the change. I gave her a card and drove away. Our worship leader called and left a message on my cell phone saying he wished I hadn't done that, but he's sure glad I did because it shocked the cashier.
