(Our Pastor gave an envelope with $2 in it to everyone in our congregation as the gift revoulution sermon to pass onto someone in need.)
I came into contact with someone the other day who was having everything shut off; electricity, heat, ect. She came into where I worked and I just so happen to be able to help her find some info out online and things like that to help. Shortly after that, God spoke to me to give her the $2 packet that my pastor had given me on Sunday. I did and she was so greatful. I know $2 isn't much but that is what I had on me and she was forever greatful for it!

Feeding the Hungry
Nicole LaBeau, 27, Swartz Creek, US
A aquaintace of mine shared that she had not been eating for the past 3 days. I took the envelope that I received 3 days ago with a $2 bill in it from my pastor and gave it to this girl. (Our Pastor gave an envelope to everyone in our congregation as the gift revoulution sermon to pass onto someone in need.) The facility I work at also was having a sub lunch day for $3. I also gave the $3 to this girl to eat lunch with her friends and also so she could have some food to eat for lunch. GOD IS GREAT and it feels so good to pay it forward!

Thank You God....
Dave Koch, 49, N. Myrtle Beach, US
A few days ago, I was praying in the morning and asked God to show me some ways that I could share the Gift Revolution everyday.....Within seconds He responded...How about all those people you pass by working outside everyday? How about some water? Wow!!! Thank you God...what a quick response....Soooo..... I went and picked up a bunch of waters, put them in a cooler in my trunk, grabbed a bunch of Gift Revolution cards and now every time that I am driving around, I can be ready to bless someone and let them know that they are important!!! The first ones I came upon was a Santa and helper in the road with a sign for a local photography studio. When I came up to them with the waters, Santa said, "you must be from Barefoot." Wow, the word is out, we are out to spread random acts of kindness....Cool!!! I've hit several others and have had great reactions every time....What a blessing....The Gift Revolution Rocks!!!

The Ducklings, 41, White House, US
My wife and I stopped by North Sumner Elementary today to pay for a couple of books that Taylor and Tanner got from the book fair.WE stayed for a few minutes and talked to Ms. Ann who is the Media Specialist. WE asked if some of the kids have trouble paying for the books. She said that some do and some bring their whole coin bank filled with pennies and she doesn't have the heart to tell them no.All of the money raised by this goes to the school.Alana looked at me and said"go ahead and listen to Him"She knew that God was nudging my heart. We gave some money to Ms. Ann and told her to help out more kids.It wasn't a ton yesterday but she was INSPIRED.One person at a time we can inspire the world.AS I type this I have been nudged again.I making an envelope and taking it up to her this morning to leave at the front.I'm going to take what I would spend on fast food this week and give it to the bookfair. If I can't sacrafice I'm not giving enough.God contiues to strech us but he puts more blessings on us.We have got to INPSIRE the world one person at a time.GOD ROCKS!!!!!

Just a Little Help
A Friend, 150, Morgantown, US
There is a lady in our community who is fighting cancer. I decided to help her out by paying her electric bill for the month of December. I went in to the electric office and they were so helpful. I sent her the receipt with a gift revolution card. I hope it helps her have a Merry Christmas and brings her a little joy during this difficult time.

gift of time
Beth, 46, Little River, US
A friend of mine is having out of town guests. She's been really busy with work, and has poor health. She needed to deep clean her house. So mutual friend of ours and I went over to her house. We vacuumed her couches, shampooed her rugs, washed her chandeleirs. When I went to say good bye, she handed me alot of money. I said nooo. She said yesss. She went out to work on her computer. Just before I walked out the door I slipped out and placed the money on her key board and she protested but I didn't give her a chance to give it back. The smile on her face made me feel so good.

Starbucks to go
Jackie, 25, Myrtle Beach, US
While visiting family in North Myrtle beach, we stopped to Starbucks for a cup of coffee. I was approached at the drive thru, and asked "if Bo-bo could buy my coffee today". I was given $15 to buy coffee for everyone in the car. I was in complete shock, and thankful for their generosity

A Doctors Blessing
Robin Backus, 35, Hickory, US
Never in my life have I encountered such kindness from a physician. Today i took my son to the doctor with only the necessary copay amount of money to my name. But since I switched insurances, his doctor was no longer in network and I was going to have to pay out of my pocket for the whole visit, after debating with what to do, they agreed to take a post dated check until I got paid because my son had to be seen. When we went back to see the doctor and he treated my son, we started talking about the insurance situation, the very next thing that he said was I will not charge you for your visit today, as a gift. He told me about gift revolution and took me to the front where the receptionist returned my check to me. I was in shock at first but then I knew this was a man of God and that Gods love was being shared through him. I told everyone I knew about what happened and what an honor and a blessing it was to know that my sons doctor whom I trust with his health truly has God on his side and in his heart. Keep shining Dr. M, may God bless you and your family. Thanks again.

Skillet Show
Ben Speer, 17, Lebanon , US
So me, my little brother, our foreign exchange student from taiwan, and my friend Parker were waiting in line to get in to this Skillet concert in Springfield. We were like uber pumped to see them and this would have been my third time seeing them. Then this guy said something about free tickets, and I thought, "man that would really help". So we raised our hands when the guy came over. He had three tickets that were going to be $27 each if we had bought them at the door like we planned on it. The guy gave us the three tickets for free and handed us the card for the gift revolution. It's little acts of giving like that, that makes me want to give something back to someone in the same situation as I was in. God bless to those who have given, and I pray that people who have received would give too.

Giving It All
Rod, 39, North Myrtle Beach,S, US
This morning at The Barefoot Church Staff Meeting I witnessed one of our volunteers give away ALL of his earthly possessions and treasures. How powerful it was to watch this man be obedient to what God told him, as he gave away family heirlooms, photos, collectables, and other non replaceable items that were invaluable to him.
He gave ALL he had and his BEST to us.
This is what the spirit of God's love for us is and the spirit of The Gift Revolution.

Treasures
Jim Evans, 59, North Myrtle Beach, US
I received a special gift from a Christian who decided it was easy to give our junk and extras, but what if God ask us to give our treasures away. He gave away all his earthly treasures to the people who were important in his life.
I received this dish that he ate from as a small child in Japan 53 years ago. What a challenge to give up our earthly treasures in order to lay up treasures in heaven.

The Dollar On the Toilet Paper
India Somerville, 14, Portland,Tennessee, US
I started my Gift Revolution today while I am at school.During second block, I took a dollar with a GR card stapled to it, and I left it on the toilet dipenser. You are probably wondering what a dollar would do, but at my school you can buy french vanilla cappuccinos for one dollar. I went back after that block and checked to see if it was gone, and of course it was! I hope someone enjoyed it!(:

Joy Of Caring/Giving
Pat Crowder, 9, Bethpage, US
Our 9 year old son, Logan has taken it upon himself to buy bikes for needy kids in our rural community. He put up a collection jar at our local feed store, and donations poured in. He has come to grips that many kids will have nothing or very little under their tree this year, and is hoping to make a difference in a kid's life. He is doing this annonomously, and with the help of the Sumner County Sheriff's dept, they will be delivering the bikes to needy kids- some in safe houses. The rest are going to a couple of local schools. Myself, his Mom and Sister are very proud of him as always, but no hold a special sense of pride with his willingness to help a stranger in need.

My Gift Revolution Moment
Gardy Munoz, 51, Hickory NC, US
After learning the Gift Revolution at Barefoot Church in North Mytle Beach, SC this Sunday, I was pumped to try it myself. I read the shared messages of others who helped and got inspired. I guess the opportunity came it me instead of me searching for it.
My office manager was quite distraught and crying about problems with her finances and not able to buy gifts for her family this Christmas. She was short of $300 because of some back taxes that she has to pay. Without blinking, I wrote her a check and told her to pay it back whenever she can. She hugged my neck in surprise and relief. I know God made that moment happen. I am very thankful for His providnece and faithfulness.

A Big Little Gift
Melanie, 50, Flint, US
A co-worker received a card from her pastor, which she gave to me when she bought my drink at lunch. What touched me was that this co-worker makes about 1/3 of what I make and has four kids at home! This is such a great idea -- I can't wait to pay it forward! Thank you, Dawn!

The Gift Revolution
Patricia Robinson, 61, North Myrtle Beach, US
Its better to give than recieve, and if youve even given then you know what that look is, that smile, is that comes from a child thats been told you will get nothing and then for a stranger to bring something. Giving there is nothing like it.

Vet hospital
Ruth, 52, Longs, US
I took some Gift Revolution cards to work with me not sure how or if I would use them there. After filling a prescription for a client I got the idea to pay for the next one I filled. I wrapped the paid receipt around the bottle along with a card. The client was overjoyed and it made me feel like I made a difference.
